The real question, is if a Pokemon retains their MegaEvolution when they are switched in/out, and how that interacts with the "one Mega Evolution per Player" rule..

I think the MegaEvolution happens RIGHT before your attack.

I'm thinking it has to the with Charizard being Flying when the Sky Battle starts, and then Mega Evolving after the fact. So he remains, instead of plummeting to his doom with those puny wings... :P

With Doubles gaining more popularity, being the official VGC meta, as well as gaining acceptance as a Tier by Smogon, Entry Hazards will be less of a worry and Weather-inducers, like Drought, more important. So the way I see it, Charizard Y will be good for Doubles and Sky Battles, whereas...

I've been saying this for years!! (When Charizard got thrown into water at that Charizard training mountain place..) He should have DIED! Their flame=their life, if it goes out they die.. Unless it is some sort of magically flame that doesn't get affected by water, but that isn't likely given...
