You can evolve the Pokemon you put on top of Ditto, but it Ditto follows the same ruling as Swoop! Teleporter, Ditto must be in play for more than 1 turn for you to evolve it.

Ditto is basically Swoop! Teleporter. Just drop a Ditto on your Bench and keep your opponent guessing what you're going to play. Helps with Stage 2's and thin lines (I'd love to see 1-0-1 lines). EDIT: Sturm, Ditto can only transform into a Basic.
