Oh, you're right. They just don't form those familiar and recognizable crystalline shapes I would've expected to see. Definitely still looks like water splashing in though...except now it looks like ice at the same time too.
RE: The Master Wi-Fi thread
Unfortunately for you, 5 hours from then would've been 8 AM, and I was asleep during the entire time between that post and then. Hmm, would 6 PM on Monday, Pacific Time, be okay?
RE: The Master Wi-Fi thread
Sure thing--I can just go catch a Shelmet real easily. I also have some spares lying around in the PC. When would you like one?
Wait a minute...
Yukiko Baba is back.
Sumiyoshi Kizuki is back.
TOKIYA is back.
Miki Tanaka is back.
Kyoko Umemoto is back.
And Tomokazu Komiya is back after having illustrated only 2 cards, both in the same set, since the release of Black/White. (Well, 3 if you include promo cards.)
I'm still...
What happened there? Was the father angry at how his son got penalized?
(I know that teachers get a lot of unnecessary stress and headaches from parents like that. I'd imagine a tournament official in a competition full of kids would have to put up with this kind of parent too.)
Deoxys's selling point was that it had four different forms, and it seemed to have been popular enough.
What I want to see is Kyurem taking on traits of other things, though I know it's not going to happen. Maybe a Tornadus-Thundurus-Landorus Kyurem. Maybe a Genesect Kyurem. Maybe even a Hilda...
RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread
Check the PC again--I very often miss Pokémon that wind up in there because it's a big mess. I sometimes have to go over it 3 or 4 times before finding the Pokémon I want.
I see. That's actualy a pretty nice thing to do. It's how I even got Celebi to begin with.
How much risk is there for losing your Pokémon this time? (And is this why actually trying to use the GTS for its intended purpose--to trade Pokémon--so difficult?)
When it comes to business, it's either now or never. Countless businesses have gone under by making the right decision too late. (Borders Bookstores is an example: It discovered the correct direction that bookstores should go with e-Readers, with the Kobo backing it up--but the Nook and the...
Heh, cool. I read the article to the end of it, including the little part that got cut off.
One thing that confuses me though: When you're putting together that deck, you said 2 Switches would be a good idea, but only 1 was added to the deck.
Smart businessmen DO gamble with money. Everything that's ever been a big success was a big risk that could've cost whoever was behind it just as much money. (This applies to the Wii, the iPod, Southwest Airlines's current pricing policies, Cold-Eeze cough drops, Disney's Snow White and the...
Heh, I'm actually completely by the book with this. I catch the Pokémon (or get them over the GTS) myself, IV-breed, EV-train, level up by battling in-game trainers in Nimbasa City and the Royal Unova. It doesn't feel like I've accomplished anything otherwise.
I'm wondering how many people who...
RE: The Master Wi-Fi thread
You're not referring to Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect, are you? The events haven't come out yet. If you ever see anybody with one, it's hacked.
RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread
I think it's a theoretical question under the assumption that you can get as many Pokémon as you want, as long as it's once per day, before you wake up your Pokémon.
Wow. This is quite the Us vs. Them mentality (on both sides). The players try to find ways to slip through the hack checks while the officials try to catch as many of them as they can.
How prevalent is this? I don't think I see this sort of behavior in any other competition I've looked into.
Last time I saw it happen here was with Platinum. It was ridiculous. Most stores had none or only one left. I'm seeing some of it with Next Destinies, but it's not close to the sold-out-ness I saw with Platinum.
Yeah, the general rule is that card shops sell to collectors and hobby shops sell to players.
I get all my card sleeves at card shops because they sell them cheaper than at hobby shops. Card binders too.
