Prepare for Dragon Explosion.

I assume they will fill the set with cards from the Tornadus VS. Thundurus Gift Set

on that note, do we have Landorus FA yet?

Wait a minute...

Yukiko Baba is back.
Sumiyoshi Kizuki is back.
TOKIYA is back.
Miki Tanaka is back.
Kyoko Umemoto is back.
And Tomokazu Komiya is back after having illustrated only 2 cards, both in the same set, since the release of Black/White. (Well, 3 if you include promo cards.)

I'm still waiting for Sachiko Adachi and Yuka Morii to contribute to this generation though. I love their plasticine sculptures.

Also, is it me, or are the Pokémon-EX borders now based on the Pokémon's type in the video games rather than the card game? I remember how Kyurem EX had the water droplets and splashes on the card border, as it's a Water-type card, but Tornadus EX has a wind-themed border as it's a Flying-type Pokémon.

Now that Black 2 and White 2 are announced, I wonder how they are going to name the sets. Are they going to keep it as Black and White, or are they going to call it black 2 and white 2, or is it black and white 2?

Anyway, putting a bunch of 2's in it makes it sound dumb, so I think marketing, or whoever is in charge of naming the TCG sets based off the Black and White sequels are probably going to just going to continue naming it Black and White, and perhaps make a pun out of 2, much like what they are doing now with EX, or X.

The thing is, when are they going to release such a TCG set? I assume beginning of 2013.

No? Kyurem as ice on its borders, not water...

Oh, you're right. They just don't form those familiar and recognizable crystalline shapes I would've expected to see. Definitely still looks like water splashing in though...except now it looks like ice at the same time too.

I.WANT. ENTEI. FULL. ART. NOW!

Just looks so awesome. I also want Groudon and Kyogre EX too...

I'm a sucker for EXs...
So am I....so am I...
Otherwise, I'm not sure if I would have gotten Next Destinies (Maybe for Zekrom and Reshiram, but I'd probably just use the theme decks)

I do want to know what elemental types are in the theme decks. We know one has psychic, and the other has darkness. Assuming that both have only 2 elemental types, what would the second element of each deck be?

Let's take a look at past decks, and see how many times each one has been done before, from Black and White to Next Destinies

Grass 2
Fire 4
Water 3
Lightning 3
Psychic 2
Fighting 2
Darkness 1
Metal 1

We know that the Dark Explorers decks have a psychic and a darkness type, so that brings those to 3 and 2 respectively. I'm guessing that grass has to be in one of them, and the other probably has fighting. In the set after, ahem, speculation, one would be based off a fightning pokemon, and the other based off a water pokemon, with either one of the decks having steel or lightning. I don't know.
