I'm not saying that I'm fighting for it. Some people just might get riled up over why they didn't get it.

Some people might not want it, but they still don't think the person getting it deserves it.

This could turn into a problem though, people fighting for positions. Some will thinks it's unfair and that the member doesn't deserve that position. What would we do there?

This would be a good idea. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be in that small group. ;)
