Tech for the metagame before EP and make sure you know at least what to do when you're up against some of the EP cards to make sure. Above all, make sure your deck is consistent and that it can set-up within a couple turns.
I'd make samurott the main attacker with serperior and reuniclus for healing damage off of him. What can you take out for a 4-2-4 of samurott? Look fun, I might have to try this!!

I haven't played in a tourney since Regionals LAST year and I won't be playing until after the EP prerelease. Personally, I liked SP's better than this format.

I like sage's training where you would discard energy when you wanted to such as with reshiram typhlosion (better to use junk arm here). Sage's is good in some decks, but maybe in the future it will open up to more as recycle and super rod become more popular. The discard pile might become the...
