They're DSi-enhanced, so any non-Japanese DS system with a camera (i.e. DSi or later) won't be able to play them. DSLs and the original DS will play them no problem, regardless of where you purchased them.

The Japanese under Keldio's name is "いつものすがた”, while most pokemon with different formes are differentiated with the word ”フォルム". i.e., Meloetta's voice form is called "ボイスフォルム". I wouldn't be surprised if Keldio donned a new outfit or something, because that would fit...
