Ancient Origins [8/15, aka Bandit Ring]

You're missing the point that all of those Pokémon are either Mega Pokémon or Primal Pokémon, not regular Pokémon-EX. Therefore, it's perfectly normal for Hoopa-EX to not have an Ancient Trait. Also, it wouldn't exactly fit perfectly, would it? :p

^ The best thing to discuss right now is the cards we have, it's a bad idea to speculate and then be disappointed! I'm really loving both Hoopa and Lugia-EX's art more and more, I'm thinking I'll want to get my hands on them for just collection purposes! :p

Pokemon Your First or Favorite Shiny Pokemon

I think the first Shiny Pokémon I ever caught was a Tailow in Pokémon Ruby, but this was years ago so I'm not too sure :p For favourites - I don't really know. I guess Shiny Fletchling would be one, but that's a given... I'm sure one will come along though!
  4. Scorched Feathers

Ancient Origins [8/15, aka Bandit Ring]

I would assume not on the Mewtwo part; I don't remember them being in the film, but I may be wrong :p I hope Mewtwo has its own set instead! On 5Ban Graphics, I for one am glad that they're gone - I don't really think it fits the cards. Maybe this will mean more variation in art for Pokémon-EX...

Did the TCG Spoil the Next Pokémon Game?

That symbol is most likely related to Hoopa, to be honest. It looks like a ring, it's purple, it practically screams Hoopa! I would hope it means a new game, but I'm sure it's just a Hoopa-fied Ancient Trait.

Ace Trainer isn't exactly better nor worse; it has its ups and downs like N does. Ace Trainer has a fixed rate of cards and is indeed more balanced, while also giving you the advantage. N is dependent on you and your opponent's game position, and has the possibility of leaving you worse off -...

Ancient Origins [8/15, aka Bandit Ring]

I actually love Ace Trainer, though that's likely because I love N to bits and it ends up pretty much always being a better N. I think it's a little less crazy, and it always gives the player the advantage. It could have been much worse!

Good point on Machamp-EX, though Celebi places damage counters - it doesn't actually deal damage, which means that doesn't work, I think. Otherwise, it would have the weakness/resistance clause. Nice idea though!
  9. Scorched Feathers

Ancient Origins [8/15, aka Bandit Ring]

From first impressions, I can tell that Ace Trainer will most likely be a staple - it's like N but just that bit more evil, guaranteeing you get six cards and your opponent will only have four at the start of their turn. Hoopa-EX is indeed done by a new artist, but I can't tell from the small...

I feel Lugia/Mewtwo's way is more fair, especially with a neutral type like this; it means that it isn't too powerful, yet it isn't too weak.

Finished Werewolf XXVI: Harmonic Divergence | Town Win!

I'm sorry for a lack of posts here; I've been gathering my thoughts and looking at who I think to be suspect. Today, I think the best course is the lynch of Bigfoot as he could turn against the town at any moment, as MTC said. So, without further ado: ##VOTE: BigfootAUS I'm going to be more...

Ancient Origins [8/15, aka Bandit Ring]

I can only see 2 Hoopa max being used in a deck - it sits on the bench and does next to nothing after the ability. I guess the 170HP helps, but the retreat cost still hinders it. In RayMin at least it'll be used to pull out the deck's components quickly, I think.

    General PokéBeach Adventures Discussion Thread!

From what I can see, the necklace holds large significance, at this point at least. Ryder looks to be a Pokémon Trainer, and it seems like there is a sinister character in the second banner. Looks exciting! I hope that there is more information in next week's banner.

    Pokemon Pokémon Theories & Speculation

That wouldn't work out. If Eureka is a nickname, that means we have something even more than an N situation going on, and if her last name is Bonii (Bonii = Bonnie), then that would also be Clemont's name too. Both of the situations are unrealistic.

Speculation [Theory] The Next Pokemon Games

As 'Thena said, there's nothing really of importance in this month's issue. The region name "East kalosian" is grammatically incorrect and in general doesn't seem realistic considering Mountain Kalos, as well as Shauna saying a "faraway region", not something supposedly next to Kalos.

Ancient Origins [8/15, aka Bandit Ring]

I actually really love the art on the new Lugia-EX! I think when we see a better quality image it'll be better, too. I think Arceus-EX may work, because it's in the film and we haven't seen one yet. Manaphy-EX is a little far-fetched, and I'm not sure how it would work out; the others I can see...

Speculation [Theory] The Next Pokemon Games

Anyway, not to discriminate or anything, but PokeLeaker's age is listed as 15, and these are pretty typical and expected rumours. I think this one can be debunked pretty easily.

Speculation [Theory] The Next Pokemon Games

    There's a lack of FRLG. GEN 1: R/B -> Y GEN 2: G/S -> C GEN 3: R/S -> FR/LG -> E GEN 4: D/P -> Pt -> HG/SS GEN 5: B/W -> B2/W2 GEN 6: X/Y -> OR/AS -> ? The anomaly is the Fifth Generation, as there was no remake - it's perfectly sensible to speculate about a sequel to X/Y. Usually with leakers...
