Did the TCG Spoil the Next Pokémon Game?

Hey there! I am unsure wether this was posted before so I thought "wynaut?"

First of all check http://www.pokebeach.com/news/0515/malamar-gym-challenge-promo.jpg this image was from here: Pokebeach. I found it while I was browsing. Did you see the "Θ" in the ancient trait? What could that possible mean? Well all of the ancient traits were based on games or story events like "α growth= alpha sapphire", "ω barrier= omega ruby" and "Δ evolution= Delta Episode" but "Θ" ? Did you observe a pattern? All generation 6 Pokemon games have a "letter" much like the previous ones were a jewel, or a colour (X,Y,Α,Ω,Δ). Also I am NOT sure about this one, but is there a gen 6 pokemon with ancient trait? I can't think of any except this malamar... Last but not least, we can't ignore the colour of the background. Its purple. Blue+Red=Purple.
Pokemon X's colour (blue) + Pokemon Y's colour (red)= purple. Also Pokemon's Alpha Sapphire (blue) + Omega Ruby (red) = purple.... Hmmm... that's all I've thought so far...

And one last thing, in the greek alphabet z is ζ (zeta). And it goes like α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ, η, θ, [...] ψ, ω. You can't deny that it is really close to θ...

So I believe that the next games would be something extraordinary and new. Megas for gen 6 and MAYBE even more pokemon, new pokemon. I find it possible, because of the low number of kalos native ones... Only time will tell... What do you think?

A Pokémon Theta would be interesting... But I'm not sure really. Theta would be more tied in with ORAS (carrying on the whole Greek symbol thing) and not really connected to X and Y at all, besides maybe the whole X and Y axis thing and theta commonly being used to represent angles. I don't really think the whole "theta is close to zeta in the Greek alphabet" works, because Z is an entirely different letter to zeta, and the connection between Theta and Z are basically non-existent.

This could be hinting at a "Theta Episode" like the Delta Episode, where you have to journey through a world of angles and shapes, but I'm not too convinced. Are you sure there's no Japanese symbol that looks a bit like a theta? Notably the symbol you used was "Θ" whereas a theta looks like "θ". It's a little different. Theta just has a straight line through the middle, whereas the symbol used on the card has a tiny "I" flipped on its side.

Actually there is no difference between Θ and θ because Θ is the majuscule form of θ in the greek language... The only difference is just the design... Think of it as ω and Ω :p
But I believe that the next game will be connected with both X,Y and Ω,Α. It's just a hunch... It might be the "new" thing G/F wants to do. Connect the "third" game with the "remakes". But I must say that really like your opinion. Imagine Zygarde's world/dimension to be a world/dimension of shapes :p Sounds good to me ^.^

Lastly, Z,z (zed) is the greek equivalent of Ζ,ζ (zeta, ζήτα) so they kinda are connected... :/ No?

That symbol is most likely related to Hoopa, to be honest. It looks like a ring, it's purple, it practically screams Hoopa! I would hope it means a new game, but I'm sure it's just a Hoopa-fied Ancient Trait.

Just in case you're serious...

...don't be. If this is some forum game of "Come up with far-fetched theories" and it isn't against the forum rules (not 100% sure without re-reading them), then I guess carry on. I won't say it is impossible but odds are this is just a TCG thing; each expansion in this second half of XY is going to have Ancient Traits and it is kind of nice that they have a set-wide pattern of a common Greek letter to them (or two in the case of XY: Primal Clash).

I do agree with the theory of Theta something. But honestly, I don't think this will be the next. I still hope for X/Y2 or my guess, Z.
The possibility of Theta is there, tbh.
Since the series with the new AT has Hoopa as posterboy, we might see something with it in some shape.
Or.. they just want to use all of the greek letters because... reasons XD

Yes! And remember that junichi masuda was preparing for an announcement on march? I wonder what that will mean  ...
