News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

So you think that TCPi mistranslated the card? I guess we will find out if they issue an errata.

Indeed. Since the fan translation read "active pokemon" it's splash-ability was very limited. This translation makes it far more playable without having to worry about getting a pokemon in the active spot.

Just the bench. Since the sentence states "Choose two Benched Pokemon" clearly the effect of the card effects benched pokemon, isolating the active. Pokemon has always made a clear distinction between benched and active pokemon.

Holy snap, that translation of Cyrus makes it a SIGNIFICANTLY better card.

Many 'Ultra Prism' Prereleases Cancelled in Europe Due to Theft

Those shipments have more than just pre-release boxes. They also include full booster boxes as well.

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

That 120 damage on the psychic rotom is legit. What does the text beneath the attack say? If it says ignore weakness and resistance, then the card becomes much worse.

Standard Tsareena GX - Not running that smoothly

It's honestly just the nature of stage 2 decks in general. Especially when the stage 2 is your main attacker that doesn't hit ridiculously crazy numbers like Gardevoir. Unfortunately for all of us, the consistency that Zoroak brought to the format makes stage 2 decks significantly less viable.

Yeah, the fighting typing is DEFINITELY going to be the better list, for sure.

But we aren't going to have the fighting type before st Louis. We won't have the fighting type until likely in May. That's 4 months, lol.

    Standard Garbodobox

Not really. I love the deck overall, and think it has a decent shot in the current meta of actually being competitive. I don't really see a lot of bad match-ups in my head either (Fire and Silvally are the only two that really stick out). It's pretty much just going to come down to how long it...

    Standard Garbodobox

I guess Koko would definitely be your best option if you expect a heavy Silvally meta then. Put up some decent pre damage with The Zwole, and then a few flying flips to set up multiple KOs.

Help What partner for Glaceon GX?

Skyla is gonna be a key card in Silvally decks in the near future. I'm working on a Silvally Box deck that has options to hit for weakness on almost all types with Raibow energies and DCE. With the drop in poplarity of Gardevoir and the rise of Lycanroc and Buzzwole though, that weakness to...

    Standard Garbodobox

Devolving Silvally isn't that viable of an option is it? I mean you have to have 120 damage in order for that to work. Type: Null is a beefy 110 for a basic.

    Standard Cynthia

Honestly, in this deck, you are perfectly fine with doing two hit KOs once or twice a game. I've been playtesting this deck quite a bit at my local league, and with ascension gabite and BKP garchomp accelerating energy, two hit KOs are not a problem, freeing up turns to use other supporters...

Standard Sylveon GX + Cyrus Prism Star Sweep

Why not do a salazzle/seviper with porygon z build? Cyrus, devolve (porygon), salazzle, Sylvon GX, knock out the 60 HP basic. I honestly and truly think Decidueye is the wrong approach for a deck like this. Maybe even put in a tapu koko for spread damage early. Put whichever 60HP basic they have...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Because I have already built it and it monkey stomps zoroark variants. With a 2/2 split of Garchomp from bkp and ulp it can one shot a zoroark with a strong energy, choice band AND accelerates energy, and one shot Lycanroc, and trades like a boss.

Depends on if Luxray/Shining Celebi takes off. You may never get a chance to play a rare candy if it does.

    Discussion New Format?

I would love to see a errata that allows cards targeting EXs to also target GXs. That would be freakin legit.

    Ruling Using stadiums twice.

Ok, I found it. This can be closed now. Thanks all! Q. Can I use the effect of a Stadium like Rough Seas, then play Delinquent to remove the Stadium, then play another Stadium of the same name as the original and use its effect too? A. Yes, that is permissible. (Feb 25, 2016 TPCi Rules Team)

    Ruling Using stadiums twice.

Thank you for the reply. I would like to be able to show the judge a ruling or memorandum, or something of that sort, but I have been unable to find anything of that sort. I was hoping to find someone more knowledgable and experienced to help point me in the right direction? I just want to be...
