It's not FOR Galeo. It's for Baby Ray and Tele. If you want an item for Galeo, go Heavy Boots, Bent Spoon or Assault Vest.

    Help What to pick from

To be totally honest, its doesn't matter. People play the break one because in very small situations, you actually have to attack with it, and it's the better attacker.

Discussion Grass decks without Forest of Giant Plants

I don't think testing without FoGP is good now, because you're testing two different format speeds. Once we get the definite call on what gets rotated, then test without FoGP against decks modified for rotation, but testing right now doesn't help much.

I actually completly forgot about Skyla. -1 Lysandre +1 Skyla

    Help What to pick from

If you're talking Garbador, then yes, good now, good for a while. He has an attack that is VERY hard to power creep. so he'll be good for a while, and depending on how you build it, kind of cheap too. The only expensive cards are the Tapu-Lele's and Shaymins.

Discussion Grass decks without Forest of Giant Plants

Its an interesting topic. I think once the format slows down in rotation, then Grass won't have to rely on FoGP that much, and the damage reduction stadium Aether Paradise with help a bit. But for now, FoGP is the best option.

    Help What to pick from

If you were stuck on a Mega deck, Mega-Mewtwo. Ray is getting rotated 100%. If you want a deck that's not getting rotated, but also isn't falling out of meta, I'd look into Garbador from Guardians Rising, or even Volcanian EX from Steam Siege.

    Standard Solgoleo GX/Rayquaza GUR

To be honest, i think this will be the evolution of Solgaleo from the Lurantis build. There's a couple things here that you should be careful of though. 1: High energy count. You play Solgaleo GX, and you play Rayqauza. You won't be digging for energy, and you have recovery. I think you can...

    Discussion Garbodor

I don't really agree with this. I had this conversation with a couple people at my locals, they were trying to find a partner for Meta-GX. Cobalion, Solgaleo, Scizor, Genesect, even Magearna, but I mentioned him as a solo attacker with either Tauros or Tapu-Lele as a back up if needed. The thing...

Dead? No. Dropped from tier 1, most likely.

    Discussion Garbodor

The best way to counter it is to use a deck that isn't super item reliant to pump out big damage. In reality, there isn't an easy way to counter it. Its either play that deck, or another Tier 1 deck and get lucky. Its actually funny you mention how many there are in top cut, I've been telling...

    Discussion Standard Meta Tier List

Couple things. 2 Grass and a Colourless, you'd have to play Max Elixer to power him up quickly. You will never have four sunny day Lurantis on bench. I do think Sunny Day has potiential, just not with Tapu-Bulu. Golisopod would be a better pairing. Maybe even Vespiqueen.

Discussion Metal: The Forgotten Type/Sylveon Hate

Metal Pokemon in the current state are underpowered, and too combo-reliant. Here's my take on the metal pokemon decks we have now. All of which i peg at Tier 3, close to Tier 2. Solgaleo GX - Love the card, think it has potential with Dhelmise as basically a hit and run deck. You can get two...

    Discussion Volcanion Stadium decision

Is the only reason you play Starmie over Professor Letter, Vileplume? Also, looking at the bench space, Active small Volcanion, three benched EX Volcanions, Starmie, and a Lele/Turtle, and your bench is full. Do you ever have bench problems? Do you play such a high Scorched Line solely because...

    Discussion Volcanion Stadium decision

I feel like you can narrow it down to Scorched Earth vs Sky Field vs Brooklet Hill. You want stadiums that do something during your turn, or expect to last only one turn. Scorched I'd say is the best, but with Lele being on the bench now, maybe Skyfield takes that place? Then you could get rid...

Discussion What sets are we thinking will get rotated after the season?

I'm just going to reply to both of you in this instead of making a giant, quote covered comment. My Theory on the secondary market wasn't approached in the right way, i'll admit that, but the point of it still exists. Pokemon doesn't randomly make cards, they know what they are making, and they...

Discussion What sets are we thinking will get rotated after the season?

An ability you will only use once or twice a game, by then, all your supporters are in the discard and VS Seeker targets. It's good in very minuscule situations, otherwise its a walking Random Receiver. Its nothing more than a set up ability that has less utility over the entire coarse of the...

Discussion What sets are we thinking will get rotated after the season?

Without dissecting each part of the comment, let me give one general comment, one that I've said in basically every comment I've made. You all want more decks in the meta, but don't realize how bad that is for a TCG. Pokemon has always been solitaire. There isn't anything to stop what your...

Discussion What sets are we thinking will get rotated after the season?

Ok, let me put it to you this way: 1: LuxChomp was broken, it was a Tier 0 deck. 2:There are no unhealthy cards in the game right now save MAYBE forest of giant plants. 3:Counters to decks that domonate the game? Wobbuffet. 4:Staged Pokemon aren't useless. See any Mega deck (same mechanics...
