Strategy
Oh geez I'm bad at explaining things. Power up Solgaleo GX, attack for a ton of damage (also Professor Kukui can 1 shot 250 HP Pokemon), and then put Rayquaza in the active to restore energy.

Ask me if you have any questions about the strategy for this deck. I'm really bad at explaining things.

This is a fun deck I like to play sometimes. It's gotten a bit better with Rayquaza in GUR. I used to use Lurantis GX Flower Supply to put energy back on to Solgaleo. Please leave feedback if you have any!

To be honest, i think this will be the evolution of Solgaleo from the Lurantis build. There's a couple things here that you should be careful of though.

1: High energy count. You play Solgaleo GX, and you play Rayqauza. You won't be digging for energy, and you have recovery. I think you can afford to drop two Metal energy no problem.

2: Tool Choice. With tool removal back in the game, you have to look at tools as a "What can they do for me this turn?" sort of thing. Exp. Share isn't that good right now, especially in a deck where your optimal energy placement is DCE on Ray and Lele ONLY and Metals are for Solgaleo (which will be discareded). Choice Band, Fighting Fury Belt and Float Stone (x2 just for safety if you don't have a Galeo out, or you get Hex'd) would be better choices.

3: Item Line. This one is tricky because of Garbodor. To OHKO Solgaleo, Garb needs 13 Items and a Choice Band, or 14 Items in your discard to OHKO Galeo, so you don't want to overload your discard, however, because its a Stage 2 deck, you need speed. Max Potion and Energy Switch won't help your cause TOO much, because of the way the deck functions, and you really will only need one Super Rod (You play four Galeo, you want energy in grave for Ray, one Super Rod is ok, two is a bit much). I'm not a fan of Town Map without Rotom from HGSS, so personally I'd cut this. Lastly, because your deck relies on Rare Candy, you NEED Trainer's Mail.

My changes would be:
-2 Exp. Share
-2 Metal Energy
-2 Max Potion
-2 Energy Switch
-1 Super Rod
-1 Town Map

+1 Professor Kukui
+1 Hex Maniac (you need it for the Vileplume Match-up)
+3 Choice Band
+4 Trainer's Mail

As a small personal note, I'd cut a Lysandre for another Shaymin EX, but that's up to you.

I made pretty much the same deck for my GF, with one major difference being that I opted for one non-GX Solgaleo. My DCE count was a little slimmer too which gave me more room for techs like Skyla which is an amazing combo with Tapu Lele

I actually completly forgot about Skyla.

-1 Lysandre
+1 Skyla

Wondering why you want him to add choice band to what is a 230 damage attack... Maybe a 1 off to help baby Solgaleo... but it's really just wasted space on Solgaleo GX

It's not FOR Galeo. It's for Baby Ray and Tele.

If you want an item for Galeo, go Heavy Boots, Bent Spoon or Assault Vest.

Eh, Ray isn't attacking to do damage though he's attacking to re-load Solgaleo. Tapu Lele isn't there to attack. Like I said, if you want one in there that's one thing, but having three in there is such a waste of 2 slots.

You could always switch it out for Reverse Valley or some other stadium. Like I said, there's other tool options, you can so what you want with it.
