    Discussion Golduck SM1 Viability

I think that this deck can be fun and fast, however there are decks that hit for more on turn 1. I would say add in 2 copies of Wally along with Bursting Balloon. But who knows, maybe after EXs have rotated and the format has slowed down, decks that can 2HKO will be better.

    Espeon-*EX* Post S/M

Honestly, with Pokemon Ranger I don't feel like Jolteon EX and Glaceon EX are that big of a wall anymore. I think locks like Ability and Item will be more feared in the format.

    Standard Escape!

This may just be the trolliest deck I have ever seen. I want to build it so bad, if that's ok:p Just something I might try if I do end up testing this is 4 Crushing Hammer or even just 2 Enhanced Hammer. Could definitely induce some rage.

Standard Rock Solid (Marowak BREAK / Machamp BREAK)

Honestly, I wouldn't build this deck for anyone, simply because it has NO consistency. You don't even have a proper Deck Engine to get things going. I urge you to do some research on popular fighting decks and work from there.

What decks did you play against?

Standard Rock Solid (Marowak BREAK / Machamp BREAK)

I am with molitall. There's little to no consistency in this deck. For starters, there are 37 1-ofs which is really bad. Having say, 1 Trainers Mail, is worse then having none at all. I honestly cannot critique this deck simply because I have no idea what you're building it on. I suggest...

Collecting How Do People Get Such Huge Binders?

A lot of people on this thread have been collecting for years. The problem is we either are constantly trading or decking all of our binder worthy cards.

Honestly, I think this is one of the best formats we have had in a while. Remember when Night March won tournament after tournament? That was hella unbalanced, and I agree, quite a mess. Cards that get you what you want 99.999999% of the time can't be unbalanced because everyone has equal...

So far, they've only released a handful of cards to my knowledge. I am right with you, I'm super hyped to see good Evolution cards make a return to the competitive scene. Unless we get a Haymaker 2.0 that relies on all of the Basic GXs which would be a little annoying, but whatever:p

Oh I know, the point I was trying to make is that it's so early to start judging cards that we haven't even gotten our first English cards. I think once we get at least 3/4 of the set revealed in Japanese, then we can start figuring out what's gimmicky and what's not. But deeming the whole set...

We have gotten a grand total of NO English Sun and Moon cards yet besides Snorlax GX and the SM Mascot GXs. There are a plethora of cards we don't know of yet, and who says cards with coin flips are bad? Roller Skates, Professor Birch, even Dual Ball needs coin flips. Also, Dual Ball only was...

I think even if we don't get a VS Seeker reprint, Ultra Ball will be very good in decks. The choice to throw away supporters is ours, and so all you have to do is opt to discard other things that can either be brought back into the deck or is needed in the discard (Energies for Rayquaza...

Trades [USA] H: Tapu Leles W: Marshadow GX FA/HR

Yeah, I don't think I could make a trade for the Super Rod. But I could make an offer for your Buddy Buddy Rescue. I could trade x2 Gardevoir Spirit Link Reverse Holo for it, which over value since its not something you're explicitly looking for. It does add some nice bling to your deck though...

Dual Ball was a card that saw virtually zero play. Ultra Ball is a staple in most decks, and will be for many formats to come. Edit: "IM just going to laugh when all of you aget so hyped for Taurus gx becaue All of it's a attacks cost only a DCE and then ur all gonna realize that THE ATTACK...

I think because they're now trying to implement iconic items from the Video Games. If a new player sees a Repel, they will recognize it from the games and feel like it's a familiar. During the Black and White era, you saw tons of items and tools that were completely new, and honestly felt kinda...

I'm genuinely interested in Repel. Chances are it won't, but I have a feeling it will find a place in the Format.
