Rumor Control: 'Base Set' is Not Confirmed to be Reprinted at This Time

The new Pokemon TCG starter pack sure garnered a lot of attention. If they knew what this really was, no one would have posted the story. They were wrong, but their error made it newsworthy.

Rumor Control: 'Base Set' is Not Confirmed to be Reprinted at This Time

The trainers would be too playable and too OP. As for Pokemon, you're right, with the exception of Blastoise. Despite being inferior to Blastoise BCR, it would still be viable in Standard with Archie.

    Discussion Counters to Giratina EX

Jirachi is the best. Jirachi gets even better when you have a way to get it back.

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

Still the same old basic energy cards in the Elite Trainer Box. The new basic energy cards need to be released outside of Japan, the current design looks dated. These are beautiful.

Are Pokemon BREAK called Pokemon TURBO in the Spanish version?

Potential BREAK Pokemon in Upcoming Sets!

They see the tower of cards that is Crobat and are trying to stack another row. Maybe it's an ability/attack that sucks the whole line back into your hand/deck.

Discussion Would a sideboard work in Pokemon TCG?

I would want the sideboard to be Masters only. I'm sure juniors and seniors could understand it, but I want something that makes Masters a little different. Then the younger players will want to play with sideboards too, which becomes an incentive to continue playing the Pokemon TCG competitively.

RBY Will the Virtual Console Releases of Red, Blue and Yellow Fix All the Bugs and Glitches?

Fixing these bugs won't make a difference in the sales. They can make a strong argument for leaving the game as is for the genuine experience. Wireless trading/battling was added because it is a feature that is required for the game to play as intended. When it comes to bug fixes, I wouldn't...

    'CoroCoro' Reveals Volcanion

I hope in the next Pokemon the legendary Pokmon like this are free DLC so they aren't revealed by digging through the games files. They have got to be aware the current system holds no surprises. Imagine how exciting all these 'post-release' Pokemon would be if we had never known about them...

Sceptile Revealed as Playable Character in New 'Pokken Tournament' Trailer

Wonder if this will come with the Wii U version. Since it's already created it certainly should be.

    'BREAKpoint' Setlist Discussion

Considering how reprint happy the devs have been, I was hoping for a reprint of Tool Scrapper or something similar. With Garbodor and all these insane tools they can't just rely on Xerosic after the next rotation. Tool Scrapper is preferred over Megaphone because Head Ringer is still going to be...

ORAS 2016 VG Format Announced, More Legendary-Friendly

With no new game, they must have felt they had to do something different.

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

After seeing all the Basic Pokemon buffs, I thought we would get something to help evolution or BREAK. Nope. Wasn't this suppose to be EX vs. BREAK vs. Mega or something? I fail to see that in this set. So with Time Puzzle can you take a lead then perform the infinite loop until time is...

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

Time Puzzle: I've dreaded them printing a Trainer that can get back Special Energy back from the discard. Despite the numerous and popular ways we have to discard Special Energy, they still see a ton of play. If this was to bring them back, they never left! Now every Special Energy counter is...

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

A poison 4 for 1 energy is pretty well priced. With Virbank it's 70. If the defending Pokemon can't retreat or bump Virbank, they will be Knocked Out. Even if they bump Virbank, placing another one will still be enough for most KOs. That being said, if the opposing deck can promptly remove the...

Discussion Would a sideboard work in Pokemon TCG?

I've mentioned my views on a side deck before. Basically if they decide to do this, I believe it would have to be 5 or less cards and you can only use side deck cards in game 2 and 3. The first game must be with the initial deck list. Now suppose side decks are allowed. Should you be able to...

Hide is a fitting attack for a Skrelp sporting this horrible artwork.

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

From an anti-Mega point of view it would work best in a deck running multiple cards to discard opponent's tools as well as Tool-Fs to force the opposing EX to burn a turn to Mega evolve. The issue is that you did ZERO damage because of using this attack, so if this didn't KO the EX under the...
