I cut all of the hammers from the deck. This version is built for pure speed and power and the hammers hurt me more than helped me. I almost always wished they were something else. I was almost never happy about playing the hammers because they just didn't do enough.

RE: Thoughts on Nintales post rule change? Not necessarily, The least threatening card in those decks is virizion (Mime doesn't count) because it can only hit for 50. If you are playing first, there is no reason why you cant take a t-2 knockout on a Genesect EX or severely injure a Mewtwo EX...

I am thinking about testing Nintales with Laser / Bank and Darkrai / Sableye. It's not a good replacement for catcher but it can KO EX's (with some luck) for one energy. Also thoughts on escape rope? I've been testing it and its pretty decent.

It seems like the deck is going to be too grindy to be viable in a 50 minute format. You basically have to win game one.

The biggest thing you can worry about when playing is time management and being very precise with your plays. As far as decks go I wouldn't recommend playing slow stall decks unless you can guarantee yourself that you will win game 1. Speed of set up is very crucial. Decks like speed Darkrai...
