Yes, though use a thin border. :P Your new banner is okay, though it looked like High School Musical pasted that render on there. :P JK, JK. Though really, I think you just pasted the render on there with out any smudging, feathering, or any other stuff like that. Your background is nice...

There is rough... stuff around your render. I would suggest you blur it or smudge it(Just clean it up man) and it should be fine. The flow of your C4D is all over the place. A C4D needs a nice flow to is to make the banner and render appealing. Also your text is a little hard to read, either...

Well I didn't. I duplicated, smudged, and used 1 C4D, and did the rest with brushes.
