Standard BatMan (Manectric EX / Seismitoad EX / Crobat)

I feel like Brigette should be a staple for any bat deck. The ability to get 3 bats on the bench T1 is such a nice setup to start evolving T3

    Standard Houndoom EX / Bunnelby

If you're eating time with Jirachi just to kill a special energy, you're wasting time milling their deck. I'd drop that Jirachi for Cassius

Standard Yveltal / Zoroark / Gallade for States

There's ways to get around people OHKO'ing your Shaymin. The problem with this deck is there no draw support so if you get a crappy hand or even a decent starting hand, without draw support you're left with what you started with. Fortunately for him he's a junior and kids don't always build...

    Standard Darkrai EX / Yveltal

Zoroark Break allows you to use one of your opponents attacks. So you can use Tree Slam against Trevenant for the OHKO with only 1 dark energy attached and do 20 dmg to 2 bench Pokemon. Against Jolteon EX you use flash Ray for 70 dmg and Jolteon can't attack you next turn. You're not...

    Standard Darkrai EX / Yveltal

But with Night March being so heavily played right now you're going to lose the prize card race. Sure you'll have more energy on the board, but you'll be down in prize cards. OR if you run into a manectric deck you wont be wasting time building Yveltal only to see him get OHKO'd. That's why I...

    Standard Darkrai EX / Yveltal

-1 Yveltal -1 Yveltal EX -1 Dark Energy +1 Yveltal (BKT) +1 Malamar +1 Super Rod This will make the deck pretty similar to what I'm running. I have 1 less Yveltal EX and 1 more Zoroark Break, but I'm sure you can come up with a hundred different combo's to use. I believe the Zoroark Break...

    Standard Darkrai EX / Yveltal

The new Darkrai is made for Malamar! If your main attacker is Yveltal I think you're wasting space on Darkrai without Malamar

    Purpose of Darkrai without Malamar?

    Discussion Trevenant BREAK Discussion Thread

There's a ton of good decks out there, but that's based on matchups. Really any deck you run will be good depending on what deck you go against. The safest bet, IMO, is night march with Vespiquen. Only because you now have the ability to attack with an electric, grass or psychic to hit for...

    Discussion Trevenant BREAK Discussion Thread

I'm a huge proponent of not building or modifying your deck around one deck that your weak against. It's not like your going to go into state and run against 6 rounds of dark decks. If you do, then that's extremely unlucky, but if/when you don't, but you built your deck around dark, you're now...

Zoroark BREAK is the bane of Trevenant decks.

    Discussion Trevenant BREAK Discussion Thread

Why only run 1 fright night Yveltal then? I'd run either a 2-2 line of Yveltal with an addition of 2 Yveltal EX. OR you can run a 3-3 line of them, but I think 3 Fright Night Yveltal is useless.

    Discussion Energy Disruption?

If your opponent played any energy besides DCE energy and if toad went first I have no idea why, that's just ridiculous to me, then he's a bad toad player. Only play DCE and only play it when you're going to attack. Toad/Slow King is a pain for most decks, but in the event you don't run into...

    Discussion Energy Disruption?

Try a deck with item lock and energy disruptors and I bet you get a different outcome.

Standard Vespiquen / Night March for States

I have had issues with getting 2 puzzles when I want them at times, but it always seemed that it was at times when i didn't need them. Easiest way to ensure you'll get the puzzles that you need would be to run teammates. Lets face it, you're going to lose a Joltik or 2, so that's a no brainer...

Standard Lucario EX / Crobat for State Championship

Add focus sash. Hawlucha will appreciate it when he can hit two turns in a row for 80-100 dmg per turn with a sash. I'd also drop 1 hawlucha for 1 landerous. He's great for building up your lucario's.

Alt. Format Future: The Sleeping Fat Man (Snorlax / Hypno)

I agree with Asmer's suggestions. I would not run Darkrai EX in the deck because you'd then have an active EX for a 2 prize card KO and you'd have to run all night party. Not a big deal, but I think the way the deck reads he's trying to stay away from EX's (other than Shaymin of course). I do...

    Standard Trevenant BREAK

What number of each pokemon do you run? 3-3-2 Trevenant 3-3-3 Bats 1 Gengar?

    Standard Manectric EX / Crobat

If you go to pokemon.com you can look up if there's any leagues in your area by using the event finder. I find it very hard to believe pokemon wouldn't have leagues in Japan since it seems to be to be huge over there, but maybe that isn't the case. Yu-Gi-Oh I get, but I'm shocked that pokemon...

    Standard Manectric EX / Crobat

I don't think you'll need target whistle in the deck, but the skyla is nice if you want to dig for a head ringer, muscle band or whatever. Doesn't hurt the deck. Do you have any local Pokemon leagues near you? You can always go to one of them and trade people for the cards you need.
