I've been waiting to get back into pokemon since Mewtwo EX killed the game for me. I eventually decided to get back in come the XY-on format. So it's come around and Expanded is now a thing, as if TPC is spitting in my face. Is it viable to get back into competitive without going to any regionals?

Wally would have been able to interact with mega evolutions like evosoda does if it didn't restrict pokemon EX, Break Evolution is a type of evolution so I'd think Wally would work with it.
