how are you combating glaceon gx shutting down bloodthirsty eyes? I debating picking up buzz/lycan rock and would like to know how bad the match is?

I know red card was the play for the last expanded regional. Does that card throw a wrench into this decks plans at all?

Yes as the condition was put on the Pokémon that was retreated to the bench. And in addition if the Pokémon you did put the condition on then was send back to the active it would be able to attack as the condition was erased once it hit the bench.
