Discussion Talonflames for Stage 2 decks?

Having talonflame in Stage 2 decks is a common thing that I see a lot of. It's helpful because as long as you have an active talonflame and the basic, you can use talonflame to get out rare candy and the stage 2. Now, does talonflame have to be in every stage 2 deck? No. Is it risky? Yes. But is...

    Fun Expanded Joke Decks

Both of those deck ideas sound pretty fun. I enjoy the Snorlax one myself, and have seen a YouTuber (DarkIntegralGaming) play a fun list for it. As for the Pyroar, I would do the Kelki idea, along with either glaceon ex or mew (Evo) as a backup attacker/tank/blocker.

News 'Sun & Moon Limited-Edition GX Starter Set' in December

I doubt that Mimikyu will evolve, just because of how iconic he is (so far) but you never know. I personally think that the stats are low since it's a promo, and that the non-promo will have decent stats. Also, as of the time I'm posting this, leaks haven't shown a Mimikyu evoloution line.

Meowstic Ex, which can move them, and Shedinja, which does more damage. Mega Glalie does too....

Standard Troll aoe bench kill deck

I've been thinking about making a build like this, but instead of water support I was thinking of Umbreon Ex and Fright Night Yveltal, possibly with the BREAK. The strategy with the dark version would be to use Raticate to get your opponent's Megas down to 10 HP, and get the knock' with Umbreon...

    Raikou/Magnezone (Thunder Cats)

That's actually a really nice list. How competitive do you think that this list is? Also, how do you think it stacks up against decks like Mega Mewtwo, and other takes on Raikou?

    Standard Fairy Defence

Love this list, and personally recommend Assault Vest over Fighting Fury Belt. If you really want Team Flare Grunt, I think you could switch two out with either max elixir, or fairy drop (but that's just me). Another idea would be to switch just one Trainer's Mail for a Flare Grunt, just so you...

    Raikou/Magnezone (Thunder Cats)

I completely see the strategy you're going for, since I have some experience with energy style decks. PERSONALLY, I believe that you should switch the Fighting Fury Belt for 2 Energy Pouches from Fates Collide. What it does is when your Raikou is knowcked out, you can get your energy back into...

    Fun Expanded Joke Decks

Here's a basic skeleton for Vileplume Noctowl that might be a good start. Don't know how to add Vanilluxe if you're interested, but will think about it and come back if I find a solution. Also, this is just a skeleton, and is only to be used as a starting point. Pokémon X3 Hoothoot X3 Noctowl...

    Fun Expanded Joke Decks

If you want consistent Vileplume, spam as many pokeball cards as you can. Ultra ball, great ball, pokeball, heavy ball, then add some trainer's mail and acro bike. That should help get first turn Vileplume.

    Fun Expanded Joke Decks

Maybe you could run Farfetch'd Gengar from Breakthrough(?)Smack with farfetch'd, KO with Gengar. Or you could use either Mega Alakazam or Wobuffet to increase the damage. Maybe even tech in Spinda from Primal Clash ;) If you want fun garbage decks, try something like Fates Collide Marowak (no...

    Standard Fairy Defence

I would definitely do that, just to beef up your Diancie, Especially if you're going to play the Hex Maniac. That way Diancie isn't too fragile, and doesn't give two free prizes.

    Standard Fairy Defence

If you're really concerned about the lack of spirit links, you could test the deck with some stalling cards, such as Rattata from Evolutions, Enhanced Hammer, Team Flare Grunt, or Crushing Hammer. This way you can set your opponent back a turn energy wise.

    Standard Fairy Defence

I think that doing this would help, but have a few recommendations that I think might help. If you're going to switch the Pokémon Center Lady for an Olympia, I would switch one of your Lysandres (two seems like a bit much to me, especially since you run the Trainer's Mail and VS Seeker) for the...

News Massive Spoilers About Solgaleo and Lunala Revealed by TCG's 'Alola Collections!'

So wait, does this mean that we can classify Pokémon who really should be Mythicals, (like Zoroark and Volcorona) as legendaries? Or are they still just.... weird Pokémon who seem like legendaries but aren't. Either way, we need some sort of classification for Pokémon like Zoroark and Volcorona....

Discussion The Future of Alakazam & Friends (& Enemies)

That would really help Mega Alakazam out. Hopefully they do come out with a dimension valley reprint, or at least come out with more stadiums with typing support (like dimension valley, shadow circle, rough seas, really just a stadium that helps out a specific type.

    Discussion Infernape's Viability

Maybe try Psychic's Third Eye. You can discard as many cards from your hand as you like, then draw that many cards. If you play a few Prof. Letter, then Psychic, you can quickly get at least 4 energy discarded. Besides that, I have no other recommendations besides playing as many cards to...

Discussion The Future of Alakazam & Friends (& Enemies)

I see what your saying, but I'm still gonna test out my variant. Another possible combination is to use Spinda from Primal Clash to get damage counters on your opponents Pokémon, then switch into Mega Gallade to add more. It might be a little faster then Trev, but with the same benefits. You...

Discussion The Future of Alakazam & Friends (& Enemies)

Wow, I've been researching Alakazam builds for some time now, since I'm building my own, and never come across these unique build styles... I see the purpose in using Hoopa, and love thee idea with Weaville, but there are two other variations that I think have just as much competitive potential...

Standard Golurk/ Eeveelutions Budget Deck Idea $40 or Less

Sadly, pal pad has rotated out. If you don't have the budget for VS Seeker, I would definitely follow the previous statements about using N. N is a perfect card to run when using Octillery, since Octillery can always draw you more cards. So, if you don't want to add VS seeker, here's what I...
