well... thats my question. :D I'd want Ash to have Lapras, Primeape and Pidgeot back. I cant think of any Pokemon that i would want Ash to catch right now ( O.O too many Pokemon out there ). I'll let you guys answer. But i'd want Misty to have a Milotic though, and Brock should have a Hippowdon :D

you're right, it'd be boring. Though, i thought that Pokemon in a "real" world would have to mean that they follow the laws of physics. This thread i posted is getting boring for me bcoz all of you pretty much explained it :D

that would ruin TR if Meowth did evolve. Noone would jump from above and shout "that's right!!" anymore. And besides, TR looks goofy with Meowth around....that way i like it. I just wish Meowth learned more attacks though. :P

Making pre-evos sure makes things confusing for what happens on the previous generation. XP. Maybe Oak caught it as a Pikachu already and he has never seen a Pikachu's pre-evo ( Pichu ) by that time so he had no idea about it. So confusing...

maybe Ash's father died or sumtin ( and will jst be revealed in an upcoming movie ). And it was never revealed in the anime since the series had a reputation of noone ever to die in it. So Ash's dad was just not mentioned in the anime. So.... if his dad were to show up, it'd be in a movie. :D
