My parents were always cool about pokemon, I'm 23 now and not once did they every say "Aren't you too old for this?". I guess they supported it so much when I was little because it was one of the few things that made me happy. Also, you're never too old for the things you love.

Well, My Little Pony actually came out in the early 80's, this new show is just aresurgence(from the most unlikely crowd I might add), but I seriously doubt they had My Little Pony in mind when they made Keldeo. I don't even think the show is even shown in Japan.
