Fun Maximum Possible Damage in Expanded

Though this question has been evaluated a few times since Expanded was born, the recent power creep has prompted me to ask it again. What is the highest damage that can be achieved using a single attack in the Expanded format, assuming perfect setup by both players? REQUIREMENT: Each...

    Full Metal Wall in February

Slowbro's Brilliant Wager has a 1/64 (1.56%) chance of flipping 6 tails in a row and losing the game, assuming a Fliptini is in on the Bench. If you choose to reflip Brilliant Wager coin flips with Fliptini each time you only flip 0 or 1 heads, you have a 75% chance of hitting 2 or 3 heads for...

Thank you all for your help! I think these responses more-than-sufficiently resolve my question.

    Help Guzma Rulings

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a Pokemon Professor's ruling on Guzma. If I have an Active Fairy-type Pokemon and I have a Benched Ribombee (Lost Thunder) and a Benched non-Fairy-type Pokemon what happens if my opponent plays a Guzma and chooses my Benched non-Fairy-Pokemon to be my new Active...

Little Cup: A New Fan TCG Format

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see a rule under the Little Cup Rules about the rarity of Pokemon. The only rule I see about rarity is about Trainer cards. It is very possible that I overlooked such a rule.

Little Cup: A New Fan TCG Format

Do the effects of basic Energy that activate when they are attached to a Pokemon happen only if attached from your hand to a Pokemon in play or can they happen if attached through other means like Max Elixir? Jumpluff Steam Siege can hit for 100 damage on the first turn due to being able to set...

News 20th Anniversary Set in September + Surfing Pikachu and M Slowbro-EX!

I would like to note that Zapdos has a Retreat Cost of two rather than three.

    Fun Most Damage Possible

Darmanitan NXD's damage can be upped to 21,630 if Darmanitan is attacking a Machamp PLB that just used Close Combat and flipped tails.

    Fun Most Damage Possible

It turns out Supa Hot Fire's Mewtwo-EX can do 40 more damage. You have an Active Mewtwo-EX NXD with 51 Psychic Energy attached to it and a Vileplume BCR and Gardevoir NXD on your Bench. You have one Prize card left. Your opponent has an Active Gardevoir NXD with 56 Psychic Energy attached to...

Japan's XY11: 'Explosive Fighter / Cruel Traitor', CP5: 'Mythical / Legendary Dream Holo Collection'

I think that Huntail PRC is better because its Powerful Storm attack has the same effect for one less energy.

Japan's XY11: 'Explosive Fighter / Cruel Traitor', CP5: 'Mythical / Legendary Dream Holo Collection'

M Gardevoir-EX seems very powerful; not only can you play it with Exeggcute in Expanded, but you can also discard Shaymin-EX, Hoopa-EX, damaged Pokemon, etc. to deny Prizes.

Japan's XY10 Set: 'Awakening of Psychic Kings,' Alakazam!

I think the Carbink with the Ability that prevents basic energy from being discarded has its shiny variant as the art.

In expanded, Aerodactyl could be used to give your Active Pokemon's attacks a 10 damage boost.

The Basic Lugia appears to be the same as the Dragons Exalted Bouffalant with 20 more HP and a different Weakness and Resistance. Bouffalant was used competitively, so I think Lugia will see some play.

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

This card seems like Dowsing Machine but better. Dowsing Machine lets you grab one Trainer card from your discard pile if you discard two cards from your hand. Only one copy of Dowsing Machine can be played in a deck. Time Puzzle gives you the option to grab two of any card from your discard...

Japan's XY9 Set: 'Rage of the Broken Sky,' New 'Battle Strengthening Sets'

If you were playing against a deck that ran M Pokemon-EX, you could use Startling Megaphone or Xerosic to discard their M Pokemon-EXs' Spirit Links and then devolve them with Miracle Shine.

Jirachi XY 67 could help against Night March, Vespiquen, and M Rayquaza-EX decks by discarding their special energy.

Standard Dream Cycle (Musharna / Slurpuff)

I think that Unown from Ancient Origins is a great way to thin your deck. When you draw it, you can usually use it immediately to get another card. When you do this, you get rid of the Unown from your hand, and you get another card from the deck. Your hand size stayed the same, but your deck...

I might just be really confused, but doesn't Starmie's Even Bond do 30 damage in its picture instead of 0?
