Standard Manectric EX / Seismitoad EX / Crobat

For the past few weeks I have been play-testing and tweaking this list like crazy, and here's what I have found: First, I have to say, this list runs really well for me. I will admit that it does struggle a little bit from the loss of Lysander's Trump Card, but with careful resource management...

Standard Manectric EX / Seismitoad EX / Crobat

I recently got a chance to do some play testing against a friend's Mega Gardevior deck. Overall, it performed well and only lost once due to a misplay. I decided to switch to a more disruption-themed focus. The list is updated with the changes that I made.

Standard Manectric EX / Seismitoad EX / Crobat

Eh nobody really plays Kyogre near me so that's not too much of a worry. I switched to this because it should be strong against Rayquaza in theory. Most variants run a heavy Trainer engine in place of a high Supporter count and Seismitoad can shut it down. Outside of Altaria, Manectric will...

Standard Manectric EX / Seismitoad EX / Crobat

Ok fair enough. I wanted to make room for Silent Lab because I didn't have a solid check for safeguard. -2 Electric energy +1 Silent Lab +1 Double Colorless Energy

Standard Manectric EX / Seismitoad EX / Crobat

I like the changes that you suggested, especially the Silent Lab, but dropping energy to make that happen has always made me a little nervous. I understand that in this deck, energy costs are quite low so there isn't as much as a need for high counts of them. The problem is, even with 11 in the...

Standard Speed Yveltal (Yveltal EX / Darkrai EX / Keldeo EX)

Has this been tested yet? How is your draw?

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

Thanks for commenting. The Malamar is an interesting choice, but I don't think that I should commit that much energy to it. By attaching to Malamar, I am also missing critical energy attachments on Yveltal. Nevertheless, I might test with one though, just to see how it works. I like the Pokemon...

I updated the original list with the changes that I made. Sorry for the mistake.

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

After playing around a bit, here's my new list. I didn't get a chance to test it yet: 3 Yveltal EX 2-2 Raichu 2 Yveltal 2 Darkrai EX 2 Seismitoad EX 1 Keldeo EX 1 Jirachi EX 4 Professor Juniper 4 N 2 Colress 1 Lysander 1 Lysander's Trump Card 4 Hypnotoxic Laser 4 Ultra Ball 3 Muscle Band 3 VS...

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

No problem. Good luck with your list. You're right about Rough Seas, that's why I was so against Shadow Circle to begin with. Honestly I would rather have the Virbank. And I was on the fence about Garbodor too, but I still think that space could be better filled with Raichu.

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

Garbodor will shut off your abilities as well. So the guys on your side of the field will not have free retreat. Float Stone is the primary tool that will be attached to Garbodor. And giving it free retreat will prevent the opponent from trying to Lysander it out to stall. After I have a tool on...

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

I personally would not replace Jirachi. It's a nice card to have when you open with a hand without a Supporter. As long as you have an Ultra Ball, you can search it out anytime. It also gives you more options for draw support. Instead of relying on randomly running into Supporters, Jirachi...

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

It's really kind of a toss up for me. I like having Virbank in this deck because of the kill potential, but Shadow Circle helps with the Manectric matchup. Of course, in order for Shadow Circle to be the most effective, the opponent can't play any counter stadiums, as they would get a free two...

Standard Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor

I am a veteran to Darkrai decks, as I have been playing it as my main deck since it was introduced into the format. When Yveltal was released, naturally I started playing variants with it as well. Overall, the Garbodor variants have worked the best for me, but in the past I have experimented...
