Thing is, once that first hit has been done ludicolo will heal more than half its HP once it attacks with Best Dance. And if its poke-power is used, ALL of its HP will be healed :P which makes it a difficult "2 hit KO" and thus an annoying staller.

Get a D&P tin, but make sure its one of the latest varieties so that you don't end up with a useless booster from the ex series. Not only do you save money (when compared to purchasing boosters separatly), you have a slightly better chance of getting a Lv.X as the tin boosters are completely...

Where's the rule saying that - is it written down?

It's not the final stage, putting a Lv.X onto a pokemon does not evolve it, right? So it doesn't count as 'evolving' it. How can a pokemon evolve but not change - that wouldn't be evolving it.

Can you level up a Lv.X with another Lv.X? Say there are two different variations of Torterra Lv.X, and I have one of them on the field. Would I be able to level up this Lv.X with the other Lv.X?
