I just really wanted a Hydreigon EX. I mean, it was just screaming for it. As a collector, we didn't even get a decent looking normal holo of him.

Is anyone else disappointed in the Pokemon they keep choosing as EXs and full arts? We don't have any Hydreigon EX, Serperior EX, Zoroark EX, Volcarona EX etc...but we have the Kami trio, Tao trio, and Musketeers all twice over in EX form and/or full art. I think they should've been more...

Aren't they a little obsolete in the EX landscape? They're not worth anything anymore because the ex's, full arts, and other ultra rares took their price place. And now that there are reverse holos in every pack, sometimes the everse holo of a card is worth slightly more than the traditional...

I am so sick of the Kami Trio. Just go AWAY. I'd like to pretend they never happened in Pokemon history, but they keep shoving them down our throats in every set.

I have a different point of view as a collector, I suppose. The game means absolutely nothing to me...in fact, I tend to forget it's actually a game at all.

I think the entire TCG needs to be revamped, personally. By that, I mean back to basics. No more reverse holos, no more ex's, primes and other ridiculous cards, and go back to making a standard holo the real "rare" card. There's just too much now.
