I know giratina ex is not that great but i want to make it work somehow, so here is the list:
pokemon: 11
4 giratina ex
3-1-3 gardevoir NEX
1 mewtwo ex
S/S/T: 36
4 N
4 cheren
2 juniper
1 bianca
2 random receiver
3 candy
3 poke communication
3 level ball
2 ultra ball
3 potion...
^This. It's working great for me. Easy t1 rainbow burn, consistent, braviary is great against sigyliph, it doesn't fall apart late game at all, rather it gets stronger. Only problem is mid-game opponent's N, which is pretty much disrupting..
I am running 4-4 blissey line in a registeel EX deck and it's working fine. Tanky. Cresselia will be as good, but i'd rather try a lunatone/ether engine instead of aspertia city gym. Cresselia is going to be veeery slow to set up, and maybe 2 lunatone, 3 ether and 3 pokedex can speed it up...
Nice deck idea, here are the flaws from my point of view: how do you take prizes? Darkrai coming out of nowhere takes at least 2 turns to set up. Stalling and not hitting is kind of fail. Maybe the goal of the deck can be turned into decking out the opponent. Aggron line anyone?
-3 darkrai
-3...
Emolga a good starter only in deck where the main attacker needs 1 energy to attack (like garchomp/altaria, ninetales/amoongus, etc) this is because emolga makes you waste a turn of energy attachment. Since you need at least 3 turns to set up mew EX you really do not want to waste that turn. Not...
The set up for both kyuorem and kyogre is too slow without energy acceleration. And you can't afford one (either rain dance blastoise or lunatone/ether) since it would mess up too much with consistancy. If you go first with kyogre you deal 30 on t2 and an amount of 100 on t3. The same happens...
Garbodor would also own: hydreigon/darkrai (both ability AND weakness) garchomp/altaria (ability), eels variants (ability AND weakness), raticate variants (ability AND weakness) ninetales/amoongus (ability) ...the list is long
Very bad match ups with keldeo/blastoise and empoleon/terrakion...
Yes, i plan to have at least 2 foongus in play. I guess opponent's favorite targets are raticates thus I pretty much believe foongus/amoongus will be ignored by attacks.
Sableye+dark patch+energy switch it's even harder to pull than eels IMO
And what is it with dusknoir/raticate? :S That is...
Huge targets? They KO 1 eel, raticates survives one turn longer. Remember the eels only provide recovery after raticates KO. I don't see how ninetales could help, actually, is it for bright look? One more evolutionary line in the deck just for extra catchers is simply not worth running, IMO...
I would take out lunatone (why running 1? without ether? i really don't see the use for it) in favor of an extra lightning energy. Also, i think catcher is a staple, since you do want to OHKO whoever you want :) maybe not 4, but 3 is a must IMO
Agreed, dark patch/energy switch pattern isn't viable. I promote eel as the best way to accelerate energies. In my mind there are 2 option to make raticate do the job:
raticate/minun/bronzong/eel (strategy is to super fang multiple pokemon, deny healing items with bronzong, recover from...
