Pokemon Japan has filed a new trademark for Battle Academy (バトルアカデミー). It’s under the same terms as trademarks consistently used for set names in the past.
(The name isn’t to be confused with our English Battle Academy products.)
The name seems to be a reference to the Blueberry Academy that will be featured in The Indigo Disk, the second part of the Scarlet & Violet DLC releasing this winter.

I really hope that whatever Pokemon might get regional forms/new evolutions in the Indigo Disk get good ex cards in the sets based off it. I feel like they really let us down with Hisuian Pokemon ultra rares, let's hope that doesn't happen again ?

It's weird that we'd hear about an Indigo Disk TCG trademark before The Teal Mask. I suppose if a TCG set is simply called The Teal Mask that wouldn't need to be filed separately, would it?

Or maybe Cyber Judge refers to the 3 Heroes in their Super Sentai forms and Wild Force is Ogerpon?

Creatures rushed through the gen 8 tcg, making it as bad as it is

Just as an aside for tcg classic, why not just pair lugia with blastoise, and print a celebi ex for venusaur. I get its all cover mascots, but suicune feels out of place to me.

Gen one games were red green and blue representing charizard venusaur and blastoise and gen 2 games were gold silver and crystal which represents ho-oh lugia and suicune so im pretty sure thats why they did it. To represent the classic era.
