Battle Partners was just revealed at Japan’s Champion’s League Osaka! We first learned about the set in July. Only the booster pack was shown; new cards will be unveiled tomorrow.
The pack art reveals the set will feature Iono’s Bellibolt ex, N’s Zoroark ex, Lillie’s Clefairy ex, and Hop’s Zacian ex. We already knew from product listings that Iono would be featured on the set’s accessories.
As posted before, the set will release in Japan on January 24th. It will feature the return of Owner’s Pokemon, which originally debuted in 2000’s Gym Heroes.

SV era is great! Every Set since the SV1 was better than 80% of whatever SWSH was. It basically continued the awesome cards from the last three SWSH Sets in every Set after - and that was a big mistake, since it made people greedy af.
 
I wonder what Steven’s Metagross ex will end up being. I hope it’s actually good, we haven’t had a good Metagross in a hot minute. And I hope it can evolve from normal Metang and not some Steven’s Metang, so we can use Metal Maker as the prevo. I don’t have high hopes at all, with how the starter sets are worded, but maybe that’s just a translation thing

Considering all the others say "_'s Pokemon" I doubt you will be able to use MM Metang...

Knowing its a metagross card it will have a high retreat so maybe if they make it like gouging fire where it cant attack till it leaves the active than the Archaludon single prize would be good giving it free retreat

You're thinking too small, with Steven's Metagross ex deck we could play 8 Beldum! (4x Stevens Beldum and 4 Beldum) 4 Metal Makers in play and Metagross ex with no shenanigans

Well, Japan's on their first step of rotating the awful F and G sets. It looks like this set wants to define the power level of I set - the cards are definitely more pushed than H, which was relatively tame save for the Dusknoir fiasco. I don't really get the reason for powercreeping specifically this set, which is obviously going to sell based on full art Partner cards.
 
Ah no surprise ig. Slightly not popular character appears and we already have complaints, we’re so doomed. Like selfishness aside do these people genuinely don’t like a single unpopular actual niche character? Hard to believe it’s not related to the potential price of the cards or that it won’t be the people’s chase and they can’t help but being a sheep.
 
Man i really hope we’ll have a new type of holographism on these cause the glossy trashy star pattern on actual ex’s just look so lame and cheap like it ruins the cards sooo bad

Yeah, thats a shame there, as it restricts freedom with the decks. So the evo line will have to be good on its own.

I doubt it. if you look close at the 2 ex here, you can sorta see a twinkle effect.

Just realized that there have not been a single tera with a different type since Paradox Rift... What a way to scrap the most interesting feature about Teras...

However I dont think that Tera will completely dissapear, not all trainer's Pokemons are ex, so should be place for a few more Teras but not much of them just like how VMaxs still got a few more mons in the VStar sets
