Most likelyWill this be trainers pokemon?
Uhm was talking about a tcg b&w set coming out upcoming summer. If you’re talking about B&W remake on games yes we all expect that.I disagree. Following patterns, the same expectation would be remakes during Gen 10. Them coming next year is only expected by people who don't pay attention and for some reason think we get one every Gen.
That said, this is unlikely to hint at a remake. Why would they release it in June?
What I think is, that they really planned something gen 5 related but scrapped it for unknown reasons. The go events, this set, khus hints etc. But I doubt there will be a new gen 5 gamę.But I'm Here for some gen 5 love in the tcgWe will get that Unfezant ex that was implied with Pidove from Temporal Forces.
But the weird thing too is that we have gotten so many new cards of a lot of gen 5 pokemon whilst other generations are neglected...
I don't collect cards usually but if that's true I will collect this entire set. I like Gen 5 pokemons but didn't like BW video games they were kind of boringIf this is essentially a Unova version of 151, this could be one of the best sets in recent memory
Where is the Switch a dead console? It just had two hard hitter titles this month and sold 60.000 units last week, double than any other console.I kind of wish "Hinting at possible remakes" weren't in the title because now there's tons of speculation that we're magically getting remakes that haven't been announced or had a developer attached to them sometime next year, even though we're already getting Z-A in 2025 and the Switch is a dead console, making it unlikely for them to force out three new games for it next year.
Gamefreak is busy with Z-A and Gen 10, so we'd probably be looking at another BDSP-style remake dumped off to ILCA. I also can't imagine Gamefreak is interested in shipping a modern Pokemon game without all the casual fan favorites like Pikachu and Eevee since that approach in the original BW did not work very well for them and they've been course correcting ever since. But BW's workaround, the Dream World, is also a dated service they probably wouldn't attempt reviving either. So what would they even do?
Also, releasing all 156 Unova Pokemon in one set is more indicative to me that there aren't remakes coming. The set is dropping in Japan in June and even if there IS a remake it's not coming out that soon. So whenever the games would come out in Japan, most likely in the fall, there already would be nothing left to cross-promote in the TCG since they blew their entire roster in this dual set. For as smushed together BDSP and PLA were in the last year of gen 8's TCG, they still both got timely sets dedicated to them near release date. Not months in advance....
Not too sure. I think it’s still at least half a year away and it will probably just be a switch + so all games will still be playable. Xenochrinucles X is still coming out and that will probably the game that will be also put out early for switch 2.More dead in the sense the sequel is coming next year and presumably most development time is being put toward Switch 2 software at this point.
