A new “Charizard ex Premium Collection” will release on October 20th for $39.99!
The collection contains new artwork for Charizard ex. Presumably it’ll come from a future Japanese set, like Shiny Treasure.

In total the collection will come with:
• 1 etched foil promo card featuring Charizard ex
• 2 foil cards featuring Charmander and Charmeleon
• 6 Pokémon TCG booster packs
• 1 magnetic card protector with display base
• 65 card sleeves featuring Charizard as a Tera Pokémon

This is like the 5th Charizard art that looks the exact same as the other 4. Why is Pokemon so uninspired and bored lately? I'll definitely be picking this up because I have to have the promos and the magnetic case sounds cool, but it's really lame how little effort is being put into certain products/cards this year.

I think it's a great way to scare the pokémon "investors" out of the hobby. Hope they continue doing this.

'Zard Watch 2023 - This puts us on 8 unique 'Zard arts of 2 unique cards in the SV block (9 and 3 if you want to count classic). SwSh ended with 25 unique arts and 10 unique cards, so we can probably expect a lot more of our favorite starter in the future
