“Journey Together” English Pokemon TCG Set Releasing in March, Features Return of Owner’s Pokemon!

Celebrations was an "a" subset, VMAX Climax was the "b".
I don't see how this refutes my comment. I didn't say Celebrations was a "b" set, I said it didn't follow the release pattern. For one reason or another it released after S8 instead of S7R/S7D and no S7a was released. Climax is a "b" set because Celebrations had an unusual release date. Climax did not.

I may be totally wrong here, but wasn't Sylveon Ex just in a starter deck and we recieved an SIR of it a week ago?
It was, and it did, but Terastal Festival ex isn't a main set. Instead it's one of the "compilation sets" we get at the end of each year - similar to Shiny Treasure ex and how that one had Shiny Toedscruel ex that also wasn't in a main set.

Plus I assume they did sylveon for eevee reasons and cereludge because its a very playable card if it was something like Yanmega I doubt they would give it a SAR all the other SAR Pokemon in Tera Fest are playable cards minus Palafin

Personally hoping for both of Mustard's Urshifus to show up, I'm dying for a new Urshifu card

Out of curiosity, as I'm not entirely familiar with precedent (or if there is one), with Steven's Metagross ex being part of a starter deck, is it possible it receives an SIR in the main set? Or is this highly unlikely?
If anything, there might be a chance with the premium December 2025 expansion
