“Nintendo Switch 2” Officially Revealed For 2025!

True, but if it comes with performance issues like Scarlet & Violet, maybe the Switch 2 is a better option 😅
well, even then, there are things you can do. Pokemon fans have a collective learned helplessness from never coming up with actual solutions to our problems, so this isn't really on you since...well, other people just don't help each other out. Look all the way up or down in ANY game to fix fps issues, this goes for any game. Use it in TOTK, too. You can also just look away from what may be causing lag. Another thing you can do is just get off of korai/miraidon. They cause lag when you're loading too much stuff. Also, if you're in a forest, just stop moving and slow down. Stop looking at so much grass. This goes for every open-world game, too

Not that I disagree, in recent years all games, Nintendo or not, have been neglecting game optimization itself. But it's even more noticing when we are talking about a console. Well, Sony takes the time to at least deliver a playable game.

Scarlet and Violet (SV) issues don't end on game performance, the game overall quality is low, we complained about Legends:Arceus assets and they didn't care at all, I kinda forgave Legends because they were trying something new, but the same thing can't be applied to SV.

Gamefreak has been delivering less and less quality each game, and believe me, I wish they prove me wrong, I've always loved playing pokémon but SV was that game that I picked for about 2 hours and never played it again, there was no appeal.

There's really no real solution we can offer to them except saying they need to have more pride in their work, their Pokémon models are excelent, i just wish they delivered that excellency in all game aspects.

Just to finish up, I agree that TOTK is of lesser quality than BOTW as well.

Honestly, I don’t see much reason to buy the Switch 2 at launch since my Switch OLED suits me perfectly. It all depends on the exclusives and new features they’ll add to the console. If the graphical capabilities improve significantly or there’s something revolutionary in terms of gameplay, I might consider it, but I’m definitely not in a rush. What do you think? Is the Switch 2 worth upgrading to right away?
No I don't think so if you have OLED version of Switch. as long as there is no Pokemon game or some Mario or Zelda you wanna play and for Switch 2 then there is no reason you should buy it

I buy it instantly when it's released for sale because I have only regural Switch and not OLED. Switch has 6.2 inch display and Switch 2 has over 8 inches. that's good size difference and I hope resolution will be 1080p. annoying to play with 720p Switch display resolution. That's why I never wanna play it without tv but Switch 2 display might change it because of bigger size and hopefully better resolution
