Raging Surf only releases in spetember, there is a article about it. Obsidian Flames will be based on Ruler of the Black Flame only, plus the cut cards from SV2 and likely the new cards from the ex starter decks.

The release date is the same day Worlds starts. Cards are only legal 2 weeks after they release so Worlds is going to be only Battle Styles until Paldea Evolved.

Maybe because people are sick of seeing 'zard' every other set. I get it, it's popular. At least give some other pokemon a real time to shine. It's kinda sad how Pokemon TCG has evolved into every set NEEDING a 'chase' card. Otherwise a vast majority see it as a 'bad set'. Scarlet & Violet Base Set for example, a lot of powerful and playable cards, impacting and changing up the meta. No real 'chase' $200+ card so a majority of people will see it as a bad set. TCGs as of late are all slowly becoming sports cards and it's pretty cringe tbh. Gotta get those 'hits'. Give Pokemon TCG another year and they'll start doing serialized cards.
 
For the past 10 years (maybe) every generation set XY-SM-SWSH-SV the third set always has fire in its name (flash fire, burning shadows etc.) and always has a Charizard.? Has anyone else seen this pattern?
