Yeah, I feel like year 2 would be perfect for a set like this, because they don't even use all the sets from year 1. The cut off was Ruler of the Black Flame which released in Japan in July. That's only 6 months worth of cards.

I was wondering, will the raised texture on the UR cards create impressions in the pockets of my binder pages, and could they be felt through cardsleeves? As someone who enjoys feeling the texture on my (damaged) XY era Full Arts, I am looking forward to feeling these cards in person, but I have some concerns that these textures are tall enough to cause damage over time.

I WANT to be more impressed, I really do, but I don’t think they did enough with the raised foil. It’s just the standard black gold cards with extra-deep laser cutting on the texturing. Maybe once I hold one of them IRL, I’ll understand it better!

I think so too. In SWSH i understood, because Climax had to be in the 2nd year, so we get 4 TG chambers in the last four International main sets. And VSTAR as 3rd to be a bridge for Gen 9 with the ARs and SARs. But now? Did they plan something so big for 2024, so we get 151 AND Shiny set in one year? I think we'll get a johto high class Set in 2024 to honour a Gen2 ReRemake in the winter. And in June maybe a Gen5 Remake Special Set because of a Gen5 Remake Game in autumn. And 2025 the high class set could also be a bridge for Gen 10. But i hope, that in Gen 10 the shiny set will get the second year, 2027.
