“Surging Sparks” English Pokemon TCG Set Releasing in November!

We can reveal November’s SV8 set will be named Scarlet & Violet: Surging Sparks.
The set will release on November 8th. Prereleases will take place from October 26th to November 3rd.
As the name implies, Surging Sparks will be based on Japan’s Supercharged Breaker featuring Tera Pikachu ex. It will release in Japan on October 18th.

Our set should also be based on Paradise Dragona, which releases on September 13th (before Supercharged Breaker). It will feature Dragon Pokemon like Latios, Latias, and Alolan Exeggutor. We should see its official reveal next month...

I just hope they're good cards without relying on each other, cards like Latias EX and Latios GX were. Too often they get cards that benefit off having both in play, but they end up mediocre even when both are in play.

Honestly I'd be shocked if one of the headlining Pokemon of Paradise Dragona is NOT a Tera Rayquaza ex with Grass+Fire+Lightning as the cost for its Stellar attack (which has 'Emerald' in its name).

Rayquaza and Dragonite must be one of the most iconic Dragon-type Pokémon, it would be very strange if they are not in a set dedicated to this type

Agreed, I know he's the mascot but that's no excuse for bland set themes. Was Pikachu really the best pokemon they could pick for a second Stellar/Indigo Disk-themed set? Why not anything from unova...where this DLC takes place? I wanted to be excited but it's genuinely the laziest possible theme that could've been chosen IMO
