A little underwhelming considering it does have paldea evolved packs. They could've thrown in some Iono's, some super rods. Thornton and Roseanne seem like weird picks. Still gives us some good staples at least

At this point it feels weird for these boxes to have Arceus VSTAR instead of Squawkabilly (or whatever their name is), which will surely be included in next year's edition. Obviously these boxes cannot travel to the future and announce themselves with unreleased cards, but it makes it so the main target for these boxes - beginners - will essentially be shoehorned into Arceus decks.

honestly surprised theres almost nothing in here to play in lost zone decks considering how cheap the cards are anyway

The previous trainer toolkits also didn't include any newly-released cards.

I really thought they were gonna make like the TT2021 and include some SWSH promos for the cards we didn't get yet (like Peaceful Park, Quagsire V and CoroCoro Hisuian Braviary). It's weird that these cards are yet unreleased.

You say this, but Arceus is actually so flexible, which is what Dedenne GX, Crobat V, and Lumineon V were. VStar powers will grow less common, and it's generic enough to apply to any deck. It also attaches basic energies, which almost every deck other than the Special Energy reliant ones (Mew and Lugia).
