(1) All 'Clash at the Summit' Scans and Translations! [7/6]

I think this set is OK. Twins and Black Belt are very good Supporters, and I actually might make a Marowak rouge deck that relies on good luck while flipping.

Gigas with Twins/BB, anyone? Sacrifice to have your opponent get a prize lead, and then BB for added damage or Twins for a Drawer effect.

Ditto is good. Limiting the Bench? Anytime. I do see it being a very easy prize thanks to its low HP though, which limits his use.

What jumps out at me is:

Yanmega Prime + Judge for 70 (90 belted) for free (or 40 snipe)
Magmortar for Mill with Typhlosin Prime?
Electrode Prime for Energy heavy decks?
Electivire Prime + Ambipom G (Aipom UL)
Nidoking + Nidoqueen? Possible 240 HP with Belt (Either nidoqueen)
Machamp Prime + Donphan (I thought of it first! LOL JK)
Aggron Tank?
Bronzong in Legend Decks?
Porygon 2 In Gengar Prime?
Porygon Z has a nice power (as usual), and a reasonable attack to boot
Twins and Black Belt are great!
Junk arm is the same as a base Era card (can't remember which) but I don't see it being Played like communication (Trader)
Rescue energy is great for Tank decks, or Jumpluff/speed, as you can have more pluffs.
All of the legends are good in their own way (but attacks are all too expensive imo)

Alph Lithograph will be a staple (espescially once azelf is gone)

I think Cubone Tank would make a fun deck. Solrock could put a stop to most tanking decks. Yanmega Prime would be nice with Copycat and Judge.

Overall, I love the set :3

But it only does 20 damage. Sure you could use Expert Belt and Crobat G for extra damage but most times you're just going to be maxing out at 40 dmg. If only it did 30 dmg instead of 20.

Gardevoir wasn't good because it did lots of damage...

But it effectively limits your bench too...

No it doesn't. Unless your opponent has one on his field, then yes, it does.

He's saying it takes up a spot on your bench.

all in all a nice set.

gyarados sf + recover - makes recovery even easier
mistranslated ditto with surprise attack;)+ sabelock - very near to no card hand for opponents with limited bench would be cool
real ditto with sharpen + hunter might be good against jumpluff and even luxpluff

all those trainers look fine to me, main purpose might be to get around sp decks, but gliscors idea to combine them with gigas is really good, spiritomb decks will profit as well.

really nice - now the question remains why they created so many awful cards in hgss. did nintendo had a plan to get rid of those nasty tcg players all around the world??? :D

I apologize if this has already been said, but I think there is an error on the Golduck:

Golduck - Water - HP 90
Stage 1 - Evolves from Psyduck
Poke-Body: Damp
Whenever you attack a Water Energy card from your hand to this Pokemon, this Pokemon recovers 20 HP.
[W][C] Powerful Splash: Does 30 damage plus an additional 10 damage times the total number of Water Energy attached to your Pokemon.
Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Pretty nice set. Only 4 primes is kinda meh though.

I love the drapion, nidoking, and wailord. It has such good helth it will do 100 a lot of times, and, it heals!

No, but 60 dmg was enough to 2HKO most things in the format with Grumpig you'll be lucky to make it a 3HKO on most pokemon. A nice long powerlock is nice but it'd be like constantly spamming mesprit - You'd keep 'em under a lock but no damage.

Alrighty then, a whole bunch of new cards to critique.

Legendary cards:
Already seen them.

Primes:
Yanmega: Nothing special, but he is cool. Insight is pretty neat, and can be manipulated with judge.
Electrode: Mediocre, at best. His power isn't great, because you have to discard the remaining cards instead of returning them to your deck. What if you don't get any energy either? Then you're screwed. His attack isn't fantastic either.

We already know the other two, so no comment.

Stage 2's:
Victreebell is interesting. Might be fun with Crobat Prime.
Mamoswine is okay, but the high energy cost on everything is a burden.
Nidoqueen is pretty cool, and great draw power with return. Prize count can be used as well.
Nidoking as good tank, and his attack his solid. Lot's of setup on his body though.
Regular Machamp is cool, and his atacks are great. 100 succesive punches can be easily manipulated...
Aggron can be so easily used with Crobat G. No question. His other attack is pretty solid as well.
Pidgeot is cool, but not game breaking. Head wind is awesome though, unless your opponent retreats.
I really like Porygon Z. The attack s funny, and his power his awesome. I can see him being played.

Stage 1's:
Regular Yanmega is fun. Not much, but he's fun. Shoot through has been seen before, and somersault is pretty nifty.
I think Kricketune is awesome. With enough luck, Kricketune can be deadly. His attack is very flippy though.
Rapidash is neat. His attack is the only good thing about him, but he does that well. Combine with Blazkien FB Lv.X and you've got a great combo.
Magmortar is great for milling. His first attack is his power, and it should be used. Heatran Lv.X can return at least two of those energies as well.
I really like Golduck. Combo'd with Feraligatr Prime and he is deadly. The Damp power is great for tanking too. (P.S, I feel bad for Psyduck. No Pokemon should have an attack called stupid head!)
Tentacruel is kinda cool. Tent is a great move, if you can devolve at your will, which you can't anyway.
Wailord is fun. Swallow up is pretty great, and his HP is nothing to scoff at. Another gimmick-y wailord card.
Regular Electrode is a good game ender. His attack can do a lot, but the draw back is pricey.
Electivre is great. His attack is amazing, considering that energy is usually spread across the field. Plasma is great too. The artwork is amazing.
Grumpig is fun, and his attack can be deadly, but if you don't have a big bench, then he's done. Psychic Lock is pretty great though.
Marowak is very picky. He's either flippy, or she needs a stadium. Both are hard to accomadate. However, if you do get the right accomadations, she can be powerful.
Sharpedo is nice. Plunder is a great distruption move, and rage is prett cool. Can't wait for this card!
Drapion is okay, but nothing amazing. Poison fang can be replaced with his Lv.X, and Land Crush is just there.
I am so excited for Bronzong. His first attack just makes me happy, because we can finally play legends. His other attack can be used to power up PDL, and that is good. Yay for Bronzong!
Lickilicky is fun. His attacks are fun, and his artwork is fun. There you go.
Amipibom is cool, and surprise is pretty crazy. It's a great distruption card, and tail spank is fun to say.
Luvdisc is Luvdisc. Nothing else.
Unown is kind of cool, but a waste of space. There are other cards that can do his job better.
Regular Celebi is neat. Future Sight we've seen before, but Leaf Bind can be used well.
Lunatone sucks, as does Solrock.
Kangaskan does what Kangaskan does best, nothing.
Ditto is fun. Ditto is neat, ditto is distruptive, and Ditti does something other than restructure. I like Ditto.

All the goods are cool, with the exception of Junk arm, which is junk. All three can be used greatly, and will all see play.

The energy is fun, and very useful in Gyarados.

Alph is actually, really cool this time. The artwork is funky, and a pretty cool power tops this card off.

There you have it. My long critique, which wasn't all that great. but I felt like it, so there.

I was thinking lock them until you get you get setup.

Next time, make a new thread or find a topic that this content would be related to. I'll let you off easy this time.

Really liking the Victrebell. Special conditions with no way to retreat, except for like warp point and swith.
Ditto could be very nasty with Giratina Lv. X. Total hand destruction.
Even the Pidgeot is good, for once. All opponent's attacks are +2 in cost!

This is IMO by far the best legend set(not sure on LL since there's a rumor saying lost world willl be banned...)
But ALL of the primes are at least playable..
Yanmega+Judge/Copycat= lol
Machamp Prime isn't godly but the power is nice and the attacks are good, free switch=great
Celebi is a basic form of Leafy X w/ a crappy attack but it is good.
Electrode prime is like electrode ex but not as good(seeing a trend....power creep is going backwards hopefully) but it is still a good card.
The legends are ewww...
Kyogre/Groudon- has like the worst weakness in the game
Rayquaza/Deoxys and Dialga/Palkia are close to being broken but are slow...
I like the supporters, but the lack of creativity w/ names is sad.
Lithograph is GREAT! Thank you for a NEAR reprint of Azelf.
Bronzong i'm not sure on, on paper it looks good but teching that in would be clunky, still a decent card.
Victreebell at the very least is annoying, Steelix prime says hi :p
Rapidash could work w/ Blaziken FB LV.X. But it would be slow as molasses..
Magkiss would be broken w/ the new magmortar.
Also TurnTwoCruel seems fun(okay turn one but turn two sounds cooler :p
Who doesn't like a new wailord, also max hp seems to have fallen back to 180 instead of 200....(similar to wailord ex IMO)
Electivire is cool but is killed by Yanmega.
If mother gengar is good Nidoran will help its starts even more.
Unown C could be used too for like anti teching.
Marowak is an LOL deck.
pidgeot isn't what i hoped it would be...quick search come back...
Giant stump makes a return?
I love Junk Arm, i expect to see this in SPs(8 Poketurn?)
Rescue energy is BROKEN!

Wow this set looks awesome all the art is cool! I think that the Ditto is a great thing to run. The one thing I dislike is the overpowered legend cards have great cards to support them now... Oh and I love the playable lithograph.

other than Palkia & Dialga legend, I'm not interested in ANYTHING.
I'm not sure which one I hate more... Clash... or M11...

Rescue Energy + Kingdra/Jumpluff = :)

No joke. It is the perfect card for speed decks, and I know I'll be putting 4 in my Kingdra deck.

Other than Rescue Energy, there are a few notable cards in the set, like Ditto and Alph Lithograph.

I wish we'd get a set like this in America :p

This set is amazing. With great cards and card combos, this set will be anxiously awaited. Here are some notable combos:

Yanmega Prime with Judge/Copycat
Golduck with Feraligatr Prime and Dawn Stadium
Bronzong with Legends
Victreebel with stall deck
Palkia & Dialga Legend with Heatran Lv.X
These are only a few.

I'm a bit mad that Wailord only has 180 HP, though.

All in all, there are many playable cards in this set.
