Greetings, I come to inform you that GameFreak has sent me to tell all of you about the games that will be released on September this year. As you are the best Pokemon Forums we decided to tell you over Smogon and Serebii about this.
Tomorrow, there are going to be 2 silhouettes of Pokemon on the Main Website. This are the legendary Pokemon from the 2 games of Gen 6, Pokemon Opal version and Pokemon Topaz version. In two weeks, Masuda will appear in Pokemon Smash with the silhouettes of the starter Pokemon to be revealed the episode after that. Corocoro will reveal a 6th Generation Pokemon for the upcoming movie with the new form of Genesect - Extreme Speed Genesect. There is also going to be 2 new evolutions from the Pokemon Eevee, one Bug and the other Ghost.
I am forbidden to say anything else except that the region will feature lots of terrains and waters.

I think the idea of a new region attached to Hoenn is not out of the question. It would please people wanting an RSE remake and those ready for a new generation.

I kind of hope they don't do another 2 region game, I love G/S/C/HG/SS as much as the new person (see my username) but in light of how big a fan I am of them, Kanto in both was really watered down and just a shadow of its former shelf. You could blow through in 2 or less hours. It just didn't feel like a proper region and more of a tack on. =/ I know it might have been memory limitation, but that only covers G/S/C, HG/SS had much more space to work with and Kanto was still dumbed down.

If both regions drag on too long, you may be overleveled before you finish, but if they're too short, the Pokemon will be too underleveled and the game will also be too easy. It's just too hard to pull off with an extra region.
