(1) 'Black 2' and 'White 2' Promotional Anime Trailer in English! [8/8]

This is awesommeeee

Correction though WPM: It's Lisa Ortiz (Oakley, Mars, Flannery, etc. ) who does Mei's voice

I think Elesa's and the Grunt's voices should have been switched and the Gym Battle scene should have been left on the cutting room floor... Kinda disrupts the flow the Original Trailer had in Japanese.

But everything else about the trailer is pretty darn good. :)

Also, good ear WPM, that is DEFINITELY new Ash voicing Elesa (no wonder I don't care for her voice at all =/), and I think Hugh is voiced by Sean Schemmel as well, sounds like him.

As usual, English voice dub sucks =\

Really? I thought it was all pretty good! Its quite funny seeing the same voice actress for Ash suddenly performing Elesa's voice, because I keep thinking about her voice as Ash predominately. I'm glad they gave some reaalllly gritty dub lines for Hugh that probably match his Japanese counterpart!

The VAs were decent.

I did think that the Hyper Beams looked more like Dark Pulse, but whatever.

Serperior used Hyper Shadow Beam! So did Stoutland! I really like this, I kind of wished that it could be an anime special.

Nah, you're just a weeaboo.
Colress would like a word with you. Hard, hard words.

I do have to agree with you on Hugh, though.
"I'M ABOUT TO UNLEASH MY RAGE"

Yeah stuff just got worse lol.

Why on earth would you call your pokemon by name every effin time you tell it to use an attack? Serious waste of time in the middle of the battle * facepalm* (unless you had more out or something)

I do agree that visually (the music also, the best part actually) this is as proper as it gets, but at the core....an anime resulting from this would still suck way too much. Ultra epic cool lazor--->explosion-->giant smoke->OMG-->tie--->.."we ignore lots of stuff from the games and make up our own bs"-kind of thing...

Why is Hyper Beam so... Dark?

Because its actual name is destruction beam.
In the games its Red.

That is absolutely not Vic Mignona, lol. Vic Mignona lives in California now and would not even be asked by TPCi to fly all the way over to New York to dub a few lines in a short trailer.

Allow me to rephrase. While I do think some of the voices are bad, others just don't fit the character. I'd imagine the Rival to have a darker, gloomier voice, yet he sounds peppy. Cheren doesn't sound like some knowledgeable know-it-all (and he sounds older than he is), and Bianca also sounds older than she really is (isn't she like 14?).

I can't stand N's, Elesa's, what's-his-face with the Magneton's, and the Shadow Triad guy's voice at all. The only voice acting that sounds decent is the male hero's voice.

Concerning Cheren and Bianca, it is important to note that canonically, they are now two years older, as B2 and W2 take place 2 years after the events of B and W. So if they sound older, its because they are. I think the Rival (Hugh) doesn't need a gloomier voice, just a cool and aloof voice, to show off how confident he is. I think they did a decent job with that.

Elesa, as I said before, sounds too much like Ash, and its ridiculous, but I don't technically mind, since I got a good chuckle out of it xD!

Colress' (The Scientist with Magneton) actually has quite a fitting voice! He's a somewhat mysterious character who's very familiar with Team Plasma, yet opposes their philosophy and seems to help the Player out, to an extent. It makes sense that his voice and general tone would be brooding, careful, and dramatic! I really really like it.

As for N and the Shadow Triad guy, I'm not quite sure exactly WHAT N should sound like, but I would agree that his tone sounds too elegant, in an awkward way. I mean, this guy was raised by Pokemon and all...

The Shadow Triad guy has a pretty typical villain voice that I've heard in the Pokemon anime for quite a long time. It would be better if they gave him a more distinct voice.

The only thing I don't like about the trailer is all the random explosions -__- But otherwise its awsome, and the english dub wasn't.. too bad, I guess..

My mistake. In the first few lines, I thought it sounded like him. Then I watched the trailer a second time just to make sure, and heard Goku. *facepalm*
Simple mistake.

Don't you know? Everything explodes in the TV anime, even things that couldn't logically cause explosions in the first place (such as Bubblebeam or two colliding Tackles).

I'd actually be fine with that.
Epic Lasers and giant smoke sound a lot better than what we have now.Everytime I hear Pika Pika - It makes me want to throw a remote at my Tv and Then buy a new one Just to do it again.

Man that trailer was pretty cool. It was more of an episode rather than a trailer. The music was dead on and was pretty good for the most part. Did not see any bad parts that I could see. The Kelded box looks pretty cool too.:)

I liked it better when I couldn't tell what they saying. For some reason it sounded cooler in Japanese to me. I do think they should have chosen a different voice actors for Elesa and Bianca. Bianca sounds very overly peppy. Besides that though the video is amazing!!!
