(1) 'Black and White Boy and Girl Starter Kits' Released [10/29]

Awesome cards. I'll be getting both of the deluxe sets if I can find a place to (pre)order them.
 
Hardrock Pokémon have them for £25 each...seems like alot but once I get the money I might buy the Boy's Set. Never imported cards before since I'm not really interested in them, but I like Isshu so I might just get these ones.
 
Wow do those look awesome, too bad all of them are awful... SSU is pretty cool I guess I like the new art on it a lot.

I'm pretty sure its the original Pokedex. There's a '5' in the text of it.
and what happened to 'Goods'? Are they changing back already?
 
I hope it's not the original pokedex's effect... I like the handy 910is's effect.
 
Has anyone else noticed A. the total lack of powers/bodies and B. the simplicity of the attacks. I hope they get a lot better in the main set!

Well to be fair these are basically trainer kits. The two-deck Starter Set didn't have any powers or bodies either.
 
The Base set two-deck starter set. The one that started it all.

Starter kits/trainer kits don't care about the metagame, nor do theme decks. They're just for having fun.
 
Wow those cards look awesome. The art is getting better and better. Will we get these cards in a future set or will we get these starter sets also XD?:)
 
With all these promos, that we have to get,(we will probably get most of them) we could get these promos in February's set. Especially, Since TPCi and Nintendo will probably want to promote Black and White, and get fans hyped for the video games, as well as promote all the new Pokemon.
 
what do you guys think about the greyish one-tone border?

i personally dont like it. HGSS borders were much much better with the multi-tone gold and silvers
hope that silver grey border changes for the main set
