A time horse? A phallic dinosaur? Maybe for Japanese schoolchildren, but from an aesthetic point of view, these designs are horrible. Groudon and Kyogre might have been met with criticism at first, but they were never hodge-podge Pokémon, and people would come to realize this.
Do these new Pokémon look like Digimon? They certainly have added more and more details with each generation, which has been a staple element in the Digimon franchise since its very beginning. You can't blame people for drawing similarities since it IS a valid point.
