(1) Black Kyurem and White Kyurem's Typings! [3/29]

I was about to ask "why are they so small?", then I realized the measurements were in metric. I felt silly after that.

So interestingly enough, the secret moves won't be receiving STAB. That's a pity. Ah well, I guess they have some use with Power Herb and such, but don't they feel even more bland to the rest of us? Anyone? Weren't we expecting a cooler type combination? I'm not the only one who's saddened by this, right?

But they will receive STAB cause they are Ice type moves.
 
I was expecting Ice/Fire and Ice/Electric. :/

As far as the "secret moves" go, I have not heard anything about those so I do not know what they are and if they receive STAB or not...
 
No! We wanted different typings D:. Dragon/Ice is lameo. It still has those weaknesses (gains two attacks though) one per forme). It has new heights and weights I guess (new thing O: ). But still those types. I dislike greatly. I wanted Ice/Fire or Ice/Electric.
 
Tbh, it was obvious and I would of been surprised if it was anything but dragon/ice. I really don't think it's that big of a deal.
 
Does anyone else think that the artwork on these cases will be the in-game sprites for Black/White Kyurem?

In a way, that was the typing I was expecting. Kinda wish they could alternate typings somehow though.
 
They're making 3DS cases even though Black 2 and White 2 aren't 3DS games. I don't know why, that just seems odd to me.

Reshiram: 3.2m 330.0kg
Zekrom: 2.9m 345.0kg
White Kyurem: 3.6m 325kg
Black Kyurem: 3.3m 325kg

Kyurem, Black Kyurem, White Kyurem all the same weight.

Like Ive said again and again, it is a Dragon before anything by all definition and the whole backstory, plus unlike the counterparts its actually covered in real physical light blue huge chuncks of Ice.
 
This is kind of disappointing. I was hoping for different types
 
Man, I had no idea people thought the types would be different. Kinda silly thinking about it - it's still Kyurem.

Nice cases. Never use 'em; a B/W2 DS or 3DS would look pretty cool though.
 
Well of course they were going to keep their Dragon Types. I'm glad they keep the types the same. So they'll be Dragon and Ice with Fire and Electric moves.
 
About all the fans raging that they wanted Ice/Electric and Ice/Fire - I'm actually glad that he's still a Dragon type in both his forms, and it wouldn't have made sense for him to change his Ice type. I just hope that they at least give him SOMETHING to enhance Fire/Electric-type attacks.
 
It isn't just Kyurem, though, it is a fusion of Kyurem and either Reshiram or Zekrom, so it makes sense that something would change.

I can't help but feel that White Kyurem has an advantage over Black Kyurem, not that they will ever fight, but if they ever did White Kyurem could hit Black Kyurem with its Fire attack for neutral damage.

I suppose they both have Ice attacks though, which means they both can hit each other neutrally, at least.
