(1) BW Promos 20-24: Starter Evolutions, Reshiram, Zekrom [9/29]

I knew it! Like I said earlier, with that 3D art style, it didn't make sense for them to be reprints of the bad ones. PUSA just likes to troll the fans...
 
I honestly don't like the artwork for these. I'm just so over CGI promos, and Reshiram looks like somebody punched its nose in. :/
 
As I was reading through the first two pages of this thread, I was filled with confusion as too why PUSA would even bother to reprint standard rares (though I do get the argument for doing so, although I think it's wrong to do so).

Now having learned that they are reprinting the ability mons, I am filled with a timid optimism. :)
I could use another tin for storage, OH, and a dancing Emboar wouldn't be half bad. :p
 
Now that it's the ability ones that get reprinted? That's better for TPCI.. They're starting to care, now if they can make the box ratios a bit easier for us... :D

Anyways, whatever. I'm just happy that we have confirmation that we do indeed get the Ability Pokemon.
 
it's cuz you mentioned another forum. I'm surprised there wasn't a warning and explination message. aaand, I hope this didn't count as trying to mini mod.

I'm now inclined to buy one Emboar tin.. since I only need one more boar.
 
Something I noticed on the front page, it says "Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott will each be reprints of the holos from the first Black & White set" But both of the three starters were holos in the set. Shouldn't it say they should be the ability ones? Anyway, I'm super excited. :)
 
Even though I'm not a big TCG junkie, it'll be nice to have the ability Pokemon available in tins, I definitely wanted Emboar. The artwork for Reshiram and Zekrom is amazing as well.
 
PTCGO updated the scans. Although Samurott seems to be missing.

Makes me happier that I preordered the tins a while ago. Can't wait for them, especially Emboar.
