Those ACE SPECs... Christ, if they're ever made as legal cards in English I think I'm out. That tool, "90 HP or less"? That's not even maximum HP! Oh so Landorus is on half-health? I'll just play this tool here and it can stay that way. Sigilyph? Don't you mean, "InvinSigilyph"?!
Also, nice work pointing out the Chandelure EX similarity to the NVI one. Thought it seemed familiar, and it was a pain in the backside when it first came out too. Looks like we've got yet another year of Basics...

Any speculation on the Dragon Type EX in the bottom left in the picture? The red could be wings or something... I don't know. Probably another Stage 2 though!

Uh... Any reason they couldn't make Chandelure one of the Pixies? Making Chendelure a basic EX is a dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb idea. Aside from that, the card seems okay. At worst, it's first attack is a worse Hammerhead, except now it's weak to Darkrai (most likely) instead of good against it. At best, it's a pretty decent sniping attack for 1 energy. It's second attack is one of the worst I've seen on an EX.

I bet with all the EX's in this set, it will be like 1 EX per pack, or maybe they'll have the same pull rates as holo's. With like 8+ old EX's, and now, with new ones as well. If they had the same pull rate that they've had in the other boxes, it would be difficult to collect them.

Ah darn I was hoping those trainers would be real. But yikes Chandelure ex?! Crazy! Now I really hope this set gets translated. Synchronizing XY with us can just occur with the games. Give me English Battle Boost!

My first thought was that this was a fake... and my second thought was that it's awesome anyway because <3 Chandelure. Even if you're not worth using in game, you're still pretty awesome looking.

What I thought when I saw this: Maybe there are no regular holos in this set, only EX cards! Think about it, no regular holos have been revealed yet. And there are already 11 EXs confirmed (yes, the commercial on the official website shows regular Kyurem EX as well).
Why the heck are they making Chandalure-EX? That just make no sense. But it's cool at least. Hope we get it in America.

Wow... they actually did it? I thought "well, since BW era is over, in XY we'll may see a replacing mechanic for EXs", something along those lines... Now, like WPM says, this makes me think that since most legendaries already have EX cards, this set is setting the tone for XY era, with EX remaining as the "Super Pokémon" card mechanic but now with non-legendary pokémon featured as EX cards... I mean, why keep this a one-set gimmick? If that's just it, then this is one the stupidest things ever made by PCL...
Yet, this is still stupid as I, too, was expecting non-legendary EXs to keep their regular stage classification... Stage 2 EX would still be harder to use than basics but at least, it wouldn't feel as odd as this... looks like SP pokémon on steroids...
This Chandelure has 170 HP like a lot of EXs, but if it was a Stage 2 EX, it would probably have the same HP because regular Chandelure cards usually have 130 HP, which matches the average HP for legendary basic cards (i.e. Reshiram and Zekrom from BW), but imagine for example, a Stage 2 Emboar-EX... it would probably have 200 HP (since Emboar cards have 150 HP as it is portrayed as a bulkier stage 2 compared to Chandelure) which may sound ridiculous but it would compensate for being a stage 2 and I bet XY will raise the HP bar again so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch...
I just think, why bother with it now? Why not just introduce a new mechanic as usual in XY?...
Also, will FAs remain too? Will these non-legendary EXs get Full Art prints too?
