(1) Charizard and Blastoise from 'Boundaries Crossed' [9/26]

lol. Deluge is a move in my fakemon project that is basically a Water version of Grass Knot.

Man these cards look better than the Japanese counterpart. Cool XD.:)

The real versions will have holo on them, so they won't look like this.

Great. This is awesome! I can't wait to see how Blastoise/Keldeo works. :D

yeah me too xD

also this guy can accelerate energy to any pokemon unlike feraligatr prime, so mewtwo has a new friend as well.

Alriiight! Its Blastoise. The final evolution of MY very first Pokemon, Squirtle. Good to see you again, friend.

Blastoise is definitely going to be game changing, we'll finally be able to have playable water type decks again (CaKE was too short lived) not to mention this it isn't weak to lighting meaning A) zeels will have a harder time against it and B) Shaymin EX just found a new best friend, which will of course make things interesting...
Kyurem was weak to Metal, and Empoleon has proven itself very playable this format. Just putting that out there.

and your point is? Metal was never really that great when Kyurem was popular (you had cobalion and maybe Scizor, but that was about it. Also like I said, CaKE was too short lived) Also I never said that Blastoise was unplayable if it was weak to lightning, and I'm not saying that it's going to be greatly effected by it's grass weakness either. I said it gives zeels a harder time (imo the matchup is a close one for empoleon already, so it should be somewhat in blastoise's favor) and it makes things "interesting" by being weak to our revenge killer, shaymin.

Hope I'm not coming across as offensive, that's not my intent. I'm just having a hard time understanding what you mean, that's all...

Yeah I knew that LOLz. It is better to post cards non holo online because the holo actually messes them up and you cannot see the attacks or HP very well.:)

What.

The cards were holo in japan, but that doesn't mean that they will be holo here. Bouffalant (DRE) was a holo rare in japan, but we got it as an uncommon.

sometimes you can just... tell if they're going to be holo :p

both charizard and blastoise have SR Reprints and if I'm correct, every SR pokemon NXD-on that has been a reprint of a normal pokemon up to this point was holo. Of course If I'm not correct, feel free to correct me :p

Chandelure ND, Pokemon Catcher DE and Archeops DE were all non-holo in their initial release, there are 11 SRs in total, and 3 were non holo, 7 were holo, and 1 was unreleased when they became SRs. Charizard will be holo though, we know Pokemon and their love for Charizard, but I doubt Blastoise will.

I said pokemon, so catcher is invalid, but I get your point on archeops and Chandelure...

Edit: I think blastoise will be holo because unlike charizard, this pokemon has tier 1 potential and recently most playable stage 2's (empoleon, Hydreigon, Aggron garchomp etc.) have been holo, also venusaur is holo, so it would complete the trio if he was holo :p

Every shiny card from NXD and up, nevermind if they're Pokemon or not, was printed as a non-shiny version first. Technically this even replies to Rayquaza as far as Japan is concerned - Dragon Selection was released before Dragonblade/Dragonblast. In the US they just did it out of order and we got Dragons Exalted before Dragon Vault. So really, Rayquaza has been the only 'real' exception.

I think you missed the point.

But regardless, Blastoise will be holo, I'd literally bet my house on it.

Given how I didn't pay attention to the conversation at all, you're probably right.

D.N.A is correct :p

on an off topic note, I just realized we have 2 DNAs on the forums (D.N.A and Deus Nightmare Autarch, creepy o.o ) the fact that it took me this long just goes to show how slow my brain is =.=

Part of the reason I changed my name was so you people wouldn't get the two of us mixed up, but I'm disliking the look of my new name so I'll probably change back.
