really unimpressed with gigas and kyurem. also not happy mewtwo got bumped from the highest hp basic spot. but at least its more than 60 (glaring at u base set mewtwo...)
 
I don't really see much competitive value so far cept like Minccino. I really hope new EXs would come soon, a Gardevoir EX should be interesting.
 
Regigigas changed from an interesting card that could have had potential to the worst EX pokémon so far just like that (Are you people gonna say that it is still better than kyurem ex?)... Anyway, I think this is actually what we could expect from the first EX's. I mean, when super pokémon cards like these debut, most of them suck compared to the ones that come after them...
 
Regigigas has gone down so much more now IMO. I don't like damage caps. :F That being said, Kyurem still sucks lol. Unsurprisingly, there's not much else good in this so far.

Shiftry did stand out to me, but then I read the Ability is a flip and it only works when you evolve him. Not that great unfortunately.

Did anyone beside me realize how awesome that Shiftry is? Man, it is really disruptive and can turn a game around, imagine being able to shuffle a Typhlosion Prime back into your opponents deck. It has pretty bad stats and the attack isn't too great though. Dumb Shiftrys and them always almost being competitive.
 
Dang, so close to a usable Shiftry. Regigigas EX no longer stands out, 80 for three is not that great, especially with a backlash. How many of the Simi/Pan monkeys have we had so far? I think we have more of them then we do the starters...
 
While I'm not too thrilled with the Pokemon they've picked for this set, I looove the artwork. Minccino, Litwick, Simisage... SIMIPOUR <3

It's not a reprint. I'm pretty sure it's just the Emerging Powers Unfezant which was made originally for our set so now Japan is printing it for their set.
 
Awesome, you also gotta love how we will be getting our third set of those monkeys, and none of them are good :/
 
During that commercial for the cards how did you guys manage to get all the data on every card then translate the data? Did you TiVO the ad to get everything because it looks like that was pretty difficult to obtain XD.:)

Don't yuck the bird, bird yucks you. Just because it's been printed in English already doesn't mean Japan should be excluded from getting the Ladyhorou card. Deal with it.

As for the monkeys, I have a joke monkey deck and these new prints will be fun to play. :)
 
These EX look pretty weak to me. Too bad shiftry is a stage 2 and has the flip (that can't be helped by fliptini) and a poor attack.

I'm just thinking about all of these cards in a format with catcher and unless something else is going to be released as far as T/T/S that changes things in a big way, they all just look like road blocks and easy prizes for the most part against quick decks.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Victini only allows re-flips of attack effects, not ability effects. So pokemon like Krookodile and Shiftry don't work with Victini.
 
Shiftry is cool, and I'm going to make it as a fun deck. Vileplume? Up :).

If only Fliptini worked...

Gigas just got bad.
