(1) 'Collection X' and 'Collection Y' in December, Fairy Energy! [9/13]

As I've said before, I will get every pink Fairy card they release and I'll put them in a pink binder. And on the back of the cover I'll tape a picture of Mr. Crocker spazzing.

Does Japan normally have such a massive gap between sets?

Their last set was released on August 11th (correct me if I am mistaken), and it didn't exactly bring anything new to the table.
 
Well I don't know all we have seen is energy, and the really only variations I've seen in those were the special Heartgold/Soulsilver, the holos, and then of course base set which had butt ugly energy. I still think the cards might look different. has there ever been a time where they look the same twice in a row from generation to generation?
 
Pack art is nice as well as Fairy Energy. However, I'll be quite disappoint if we stay with B/W Templates.
 
Yey, I knew they'd add Fairy Energies! Though I'm a little concerned with the color... That isn't pink, it's magenta. And I HATE magenta, but I <3 pink. <_<

And this is a very vivid magenta, bordering on red. How will players tell it apart from Fire Energy then, with the colors so similar? That's why I'd prefer a lighter pink color..

PS. I don't think they'll ever introduce Dragon Energy. Since dragons are creatures using the different elements in their attacks, they are mix-matched. And Fairy Energy can be released because there is no previous Fairies to retcon their attack costs of (duh), unlike Dragons where there is a whole slew already out.
 
I guess Magenta = Better than pink because I like the candy look to it, and I think considering that I have a fire energy with me along with a lamp so there is equal lightning, and I can tell the difference, no one will confuse fairy and fire energy even if the completely different symbols weren't enough.
 
In all seriousness (Kinda not really) I actually love that there will be pink cards. I have a manly mat that's pink so if I run a Fairy deck they'll match! Also love the colors. Can't wait for fairies!!!!

Not quite, though Classic and Neo had more similarities than differences. I've wondered since XY was announced if it would be a similar case with BW and XY TCG.
 
With Fairy Energy coming out, I'll definitely be aiming to collect all the fairies, but also be targeting any of the past 649 Pokémon that may have had a change in Weakness and Resistance, two of them I believe, will be Sableye and Spiritomb once they receive a Weakness of Fairy.
 
i don't want to be that guy, but why would we get a dragon energy when there are no dragon energy symbols?
