(1) Dengeki Magazine Reveals New B2W2 Details! [6/19]

...The only thing I see of particular note is that I now know Magnemite is in the game.
I don't know if it was announced before and I didn't notice, but now I want BW2 again.

TM90 Venoshock? So TMs have changed around huh? Or is this a translation error?

Haha shiny Patrat...kill it! :p

Ah, too bad Team Bright Plasma was an error. It would have been a great contrast to Team Dim Sun.

My bad, my bad. 光 and 元 look alike in small print :<

Hmm..the only thing I took notice of is the two factions of team Plasma (Werewolf anyone? :p)
Cool that your rival has a connection with team plasma

Probably mistranslated and should be TM09.

Not really surprised about Homika or Cheren's teams, thought it would be around those Pokemon.
Looks like Riolu is found early in the game, that will be good :).
And Growlithe is early game as well, I is happy :D

O:

THE MAP!

We go to the E4 from the east side. An extra sea route. Diving spots ftw.

Hah, I knew the inaccessible tunnel in Driftveil was the underwater one!
Took them 2 years to finish it but, it goes all the way to Castelia :B
...wait it also seems to go north towards Twist mountain?

Since you go to Castelia after the intro towns/routes, the next path is unpredictable xDDD
Could be Driftveil first via tunnel, or up to Nimbasa or even Skyarrow bridge perhaps... This could be quite less linear than BW.

The new routes so far have nice distinct layouts. And unusually many pokes in them for starting areas o__O

Here goes hoping Mareep will have something interesting added to its learning moves. <3

Whirlipede was obvious with that Scolipede guitar. Altho the guitar still makes me confident we will battle the Unova leaders with proper teams at some point???

Magnemite in the grass? That's kind of unnecessary with the region having a Chargestone cave LOL

Correct me if i'm wrong, but does this mean we get first gen starters early in this game?

"There will be a Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu egg distribution for B2W2 at some point."
At some point....

Or rather, theyre not part of the normal game, but an event.

This has me pretty excited for B2W2! I'm hoping this game, like Mitja suggested, could be much less linear...my one real gripe with the original BW was that the lack of truly required backtracking made certain cities/towns feel rather pointless.

I'm willing to bet IF that shiny Patrat is forced, we will be seeing a redo of Red Gyarados. Only less Hyper Beam.

WPM: IIRC, Magby is exclusive to Black 2 and Elekid is exclusive to White 2, not the other way around.

I'm guessing the reason why the regional dex now has so many pokémon is because most of the pokémon that are not new to the region but appear in the reg. dex are the pokémon you can catch in eastern Unova and since you can go there earlier, they decided to expand the reg. dex.
I've also thought previously that we would have to go through the giant chasm before the E4 in a 3rd version because of Kyurem and the map confirms that. Although it seems we can go to all eastern Unova before the E4, not just the areas around Giant chasm (the news say about going to Black City/White Forest earlier).
I wonder what will be left for the postgame. Maybe the southeastern part of Unova (the one we start in in BW1)...

Also, there's still one new gym leader (the water one), and my guess is that the water gym is in that new town is eastern unova. So, either we can go there after the battle with Elesa (although that doesn't look very practical to me) or he's the last gym leader.

that's all I needed to hear. It was almost boring how linear BW was, compared to skirting round saffron, or the 3 way split between mahogany, cinewood and olivine gyms etc.

anyway... it looks like the ice-sheets were mostly cosmetic, despite undella mansion being frozen during the BW-2 promotional-clip. I wonder what lies down routes 17 and 18 now, along with the rest of that part of the map. We'll probably need to see lenora and her museum for fossil-restorations.

But hey, not long to wait now.

I just pictured level 70 wild Pokemon on Route 1. I definitely hope you're right as far as the post game goes. That would be hilarious.

he is

Hmm. So the water gym guy is the last gym leader. Really interesting.

Elesa has around level 30 Pokemon. I want the levels to go high!
