(1) 'Dragons Exalted' Giratina-EX, Rayquaza-EX, and Garchomp Revealed! [6/20]

I just realized the deck covers are supposed be Black City/White Forest

Pretty good idea

Hm, looks like Garchomp and Hydreigon aren't holo in this set. Oh well, I prefer reverses anyway and I bet the dragon type reverses will look pretty rad.

The holos are never holo in these official promo shots. But I am actually extremely concerned over whether they will be holo in the actual set. Zoroark (who was supposed to be holo) appeared in the theme deck and as a result was nonholo in the set too. :/

This stuff wouldn't bother me so much if the theme deck holo wasn't the stupid cracked glass one. I just want a way where I can obtain a playset of Garchomp/Hydreigon with the normal "line" holo pattern on them, the way they should look. I just don't know why TPCi wants to constantly give collectors the middle finger when it comes to making cards nonholo when they SHOULD be holo like in the Japanese set.

TPCi should do one of two things to address this. If they are adamant about having all their theme deck holos be the "cracked glass" pattern, just make Garchomp/Hydreigon have the regular "line" holo pattern for their set counterparts, like they did with all of the BLW theme decks. Or alternatively, use the regular "line" holo pattern for the theme deck holos like in the Reshiram/Zekrom theme decks.

the second rayquaza's attack is confuse, because it says:

"Discard All basic {R} energy OR all basic {L} energy"

would be a problem if I want to discard all either {R} and {L} energy? or, must be only one energy type? Because if is that, you need to have 4 energy to hit 180... 1 {R} and 3 {L}...
that's a lot

Maybe Emboar + Prism Energy have a use?

Well, based on a post made by a TPCi staff member on some other forum, the good Chomp/Hydregion will NOT be in the theme decks...

The big problem is you'd need to run 4 Energy Retrieval to keep getting them back. Most people are favoring Eels to run with it, and running it like you would run Raikou EX in an Eel deck. You'd just need to add a few Prism in as well.

This is going to be awesome. They ARE they good hydreigon and garchomp. - wish the good gabite will be in the set and the theme deck. If the theme deck (dragon sneeze) is fighting water and metal we will probably get altaria. Then you would have a 2-2 altaria and 4-3-2 garchomp with just the deck.

Amazing artwork! Bad moves or not, this set will sell like hotcakes, or something else similarly delicious.

Did you not just read the post you quoted? Apparently the good hydreigon/garchomp won't be in the theme decks. Says so on the main page now as well.

FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

I honestly hope they're just covering up. I'm gonna be really mad if they give us the bad ones.

Yeah, that sucks, oh well, we still get the good ones in the set
Reason to smile :)

Edit: Loving the art of the two EXs & Garchomp

Sorry didn't see the post. But it seems like it is favoring a lot to the good ones as you can see the 1 fighting energy attack.

Those pictures are placeholders.

Wow, I really wasn't expecting both lines of Garchomp to be in the same set (possibly Hydreigon too). What trolls.

dmaster out.

Awesome! These have great art! However, those moves seem pretty terrible. Rayquaza's second move is debatable.
haha silly boy. Moves are awesome! Garchomp is top tier in Japan's BW-on format which is what we'll be getting these for. Both of Garchomps moves are good especially with Altaria. Giratina is okay and is great in basic box aka six corners. Rayquaza is good and I imagine it having a deck of its own.
